Kamayo Hostel — Hotel in Hinatuan

We recently stayed at Kamayo Hostel in Hinatuan and scored a discount via Facebook, paying only 700 pesos per night instead of 800 pesos for an air-conditioned room with a double deck. The hostel is a great budget option with several amenities.

The common CR is clean and spacious, and our room was tidy and comfortable. They have WiFi, so I was able to work without any issues. The roof deck is a great spot to chill, and there's a dining area with free water in the dispenser.

The owner is very kind and friendly. We had a nice chat, and they mentioned that their hostel is one of the pioneer hostels in the area, having catered to some of the artists in the Philippines whenever they have shows in Hinatuan. The hostel offers different room options, including rooms for big groups.

Strongly recommend anyone visitng Hinatuan or Enchanted river. Have 2 nights here. It's truly an unforgettable experience! 10 min walk from Hinatuan bus terminal, with great WIFI signal, free water/coffee, good aircon room, and most importantly, nice host and workers here!

The host and the worker were so nice. I arrived early, but she still let me check in and tell me this is like your home. Feel free to relax, and if there's any problem just let me know. They helped me get a tricycle to Enchanted River, and one of the worker's son(only 10 years old but speak fluent English) even gave me a walking tour around here.

The hospitality, friendliness, and pureness of people in this small town made me feel like I'm already their friends for a long time, even though it's just my first time meeting them.
