My family and friends stayed for 3D2N at Kilyawan Farm Resort. It was a wonderful experience: --- **PROS:** ✅ Farm experience with a touch of luxury: * Comfy queen bed, super soft pillows * Huge bathroom with Japanese-style bidet *With AC and ceiling fan *Lots of natural light inside the cabin *Free breakfast, even for the kids *Super bango ng shampoo and body wash nila 😍 ✅ Exceptional service: * The staff were very welcoming and always smiling * They helped us carry our luggage ✅ Farm tour (included in our stay): * Tractor experience * Feeding the rabbits, pigs, and chickens * Free 1 tray of eggs per group --- **CONS:** ❌ Since we opted to have our cabins beside each other, we could hear the kids crying ❌ Many insects (syempre farm, so expected na) ❌ Pricey food --- Here are my food recommendations that we think are worth it: *Note: Prices are really expensive in my opinion, considering the quantity of food they serve. However, they make sure that most ingredients are sourced from the farm (organic). --- Breakfast: 📍Beef Tapa – 5/5⭐ – This is good considering the amount of food. Definitely worth it. 📍Tinapang Bangus – 5/5⭐– Another winner. You might even ask for more rice. 📍Continental – 5/5⭐ – I like this one, especially the mango jam with butter and the crispy bacon. Yummy! 📍Champorado – 5/5⭐ – OMG OMG. The kids loved this! 📍Longganisa – 3/5⭐ – You can skip this one. Nothing special. --- Drinks for Breakfast: 📍Tablea – 5/5⭐ – Suppeeerr SARAP!!!! Majority of their produce is cacao, kaya ang sarap talaga 😭 📍Calamansi Juice – 3/5⭐– It was okay. 📍Fresh Tarragon Tea – 4/5⭐ – Super refreshing, and I liked this one. We did not order their kapeng barako because they have unlimited coffee inside the cabin. --- Lunch/Dinner: 📍Inihaw na Liempo – 5/5⭐– A simple grilled pork belly. Gave 5 stars because of the huge serving. 📍Sisig – 3/5⭐– Their version is crunchy and good for 2 pax. 📍Chicken Inasal – 3/5⭐ – 4 pieces of grilled chicken. It was okay, nothing special, but can feed 3 pax. 📍Pork BBQ – 4/5⭐ – The kids loved this. Sweet-style BBQ, a bit skinny, only 5 skewers. 📍Sinigang na Hipon – 5/5⭐– A really good sinigang. Perfectly sour (not from a sinigang mix). Soo good. 📍Vegetable Kare-Kare – 5/5⭐ – Another winner!!! Their peanut sauce and bagoong—soo good. Just sad it's only good for 2 pax 😭 📍Tulingan sa Gata – 2/5⭐– This was a letdown. Not because it wasn't good, but it only had 1 piece of tulingan 😭 considering it’s a ₱320 dish. 📍Laing – 3/5⭐ – It was okay. We always go to Bicol, so we know what a good laing tastes like. 📍Bolognese and Herb Pesto Pasta – 5/5⭐ – This is really good. Decent serving size, good for 2–3 pax. One of our favourites đŸ€— --- Overall, the accommodation and the farm experience were really top-notch. We had a comfortable and wonderful stay. My only issue was the food portions—it could have been better considering the prices are a bit steep. We paid around ₱45,000+ for everything: 4 adults + 3 toddlers + 1 kid.

Loved our 2-night stay here. Stayed in a very spacious cabin with a queen bed and 2 daybeds. Had tons of room for our 1-yo to practice walking. Lucky that our cabin was situated in front of the pool too. Travel to the resort was an easy 1.5-hr drive (90% highway) from the metro. Although, the highway between Lipa and Ibaan was bumpy enough that we had to stop and check our tires twice. Food from the resort’s restaurant, Courtyard, was great. We aren’t heavy eaters so they also offered to keep a portion of the food for a later meal—very thoughtful. We wanted to have Adobo sa Dilaw which wasn’t available so settled with their beef sofrito. The next few meals we had their lomi (great), squash soup (baby loved this), and inihaw na liempo (I loved this). Food service was amazing. We brought some mangoes for the baby that they cut happily. I imagine other hotels would have charged extra for that. We especially loved the afternoon ice candy! Such a small but lovely gesture. Over the two days, we just cooled off in the pool, lounged in their duyans, ran around in their playground, and did their farm tour. The farm tour was the highlight of the trip. Two things our baby loves: vehicles and animals. So seeing a tractor and farm animals was amazing. We rode the tractor around the farm and learned about their cacao and mango trees. We got to taste some cacao too—sweet like mangosteens. After that, we fed some rabbits, pigs, goats, and chickens. Our baby enjoyed this a lot so we fed them again the next morning. Saw some huge cows too with their calf—hi Salome—and some kilyawans while lounging in the duyan. Huuuuge kudos to the staff for making this such a memorable experience. One of the guests’ kids said “I could live here for 100 years” and, honestly, we felt the same. Kilyawan felt like home for 2 days. We’ll be back! Hopefully in time for the mangos to ripen 😁

We found our weekend zen here at this farm. We are composed of 15 people, of which are 3 kids and 2 senior citizens. We love that the rooms are spacious, and the interiors are safe for both senior citizens and young kids alike. All the three kids are toddlers. The senior citizens are in their 70s and 80’s. The floors in the rooms were not made of slippery materials, and the sofa has rounded wooded edges safe specially for toddlers. The place was also quiet, and only nature’s music could be heard at night. We also had no problem sleeping, as it is a truly relaxing room with good amenities: bed is firm to my liking, pillows are soft, blankets are not too thick, the room is well illuminated with the moon and stars at night when you turn off all the lights. The swimming pool’s deepest portion is only upto 5 feet, so we found it really conducive and safe for our kids, yayas and senior citizens. The food was also sumptous and fresh, and the servings were enough to generous. More than anything, it is the staff that made it really special for us. Everyone was attentive to us, and always looked up to our needs. Everyone was pleasant, and was ready to answer and help when we needed them. The strength of this place lies in it’s ability to give relaxation. We did not party late at night, because our family needed rest from the busy life in Manila. Thank you Kilyawan Farm. We will surely recommend this place and will be happy to come back again :) Rachel Lee Chua
