It wasn't our first time visiting Malachi but it is our first time visiting the New Malachi Resort. We went there for a quick dip by the pool with my family, well a long dip actually since we went there very early maybe around 6:30 in the morning. I was amazed by the huge development that they had and compaired from our last visit, the staff are way more approachable and assistive. The pools are great, my niece and nephews were overjoyed right the moment they saw the pools. They even got way too tanned from dipping in the pool way longer that the way they should be but it's fine. If there's something that we'd critique, it's the food and the time that they have served it. It took them 40 or 50 minutes to serve our food and we're starting to get a little groggy but we kept our patience, so, we went to one of the staffs and followed it up then after a few minutes they served it already. The food is good but it was starting to get cold when got a bite into what they have served. The fried chicken was a little burned, we can taste the bitterness from the supposedly succulent chicken skin and the pansit bihon was a little sweet for our tastebuds. Even my mom, my brother and sister-in-law have noticed the unfamiliar taste from the pansit. Well we guessed that maybe they have mistakenly seasoned the pansit with granulated white sugar instead of fine kosher salt. But anyway, the rest of this visit was fun, I just hope they can change this creative criticism that we had. If we're gonna come back? Well, yes, afterall we had a great time.

I loved my stay here last time! So much so that we have decided to stay here again for my next visit, when I plan to get married. We also will be using the Malachi resort for our reception. The staff are very friendly plus they speak English so no problems for travelers. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. There are two pools available and the food is awesome. I don't often give 5 stars but this resort gets it this time.

2nd time in Malachi. Last 2019 breakfast was included but this time is not. A bit pricey for 4pax but the service is great. Food at the restaurant is very good and generous serving too.

pros: ||- all their staff are very accommodating and friendly. From the guards, receptionists, waiters, room boy, and pool attendants. This area exceeded my expectations||- The actual first reason i chose this location is because I was told that they have a large and secured parking area, which was indeed true. Some areas are not well-lit though at night||- very clean swimming pool. Despite of being off-peak (August), the pools are still well maintained||- Although I only tried their breakfast in the menu, i was satisfied ||- hot/cold shower||||Cons||- pricey compared to other resorts/hotels/accommodation in the area ||- very small room. I did not expect a 3k worth of room will feel very cramped ||- very old styled room; lacks table/cabinet to put your things on; old school TV (14" CRT tv)||- not so cold aircon. Or maybe a not so powerful air-conditioning system (.5 hp unit). We needed to request for a fan (which they provided without a fee anyway). We've also heard some guests requested for fans as well||- with the price of the room, the free breakfast is only worth 90php/head (for 2)||- quite far from the beach (i'm not a fan of Infanta or Real beaches anyway so this is definitely fine with me)||- very weak to no cell signals, especially in the rooms. wifi is slow and available in the restaurant only||||overall i'm still satisfied, since my main concern is security. I will still choose this resort as of my options when I go back to this portion of...
