Daytrip for photos - yes. Meals - not worth the price Overnight stays - absolutely not.
Terrible housekeeping - CRs stank, and was obviously not cleaned when we stayed there. The windows even had the hand prints of the previous occupants, and the bathroom rugs were wet when we arrived! Worse, there was no water all night, which made the toilets stink even more.
Barrel rooms and Suite rooms have absolutely no ventilation. which added to the musky pungence. To have air inside the rooms, you'll need to open the doors (no windows for the barrel rooms), or the windows for the Suite room. Which means you will be mosquito bitten all night.
Management has absolutely no idea how to run a B&B or resort. I've given feedback/complaints multiple times (in person and via Messenger), and they never got back to me.
Safety is compromised. The path to the barrel rooms is along a 10ft high wall, with the path either rocky or muddy, with NO railings.
Our family paid for an exclusive overnight stay, but they promoted on social media their buffet dinner during our stay, and they allowed daytrip guests to do photo-ops while we were still occupying the rooms. They absolutely do not honor what they promise guests.
It's mostly for photo ops. But for "a luxurious staycation", Wine Barrel is...
Read moreOn our way to Bukidnon I had a very bad case of diarrhea , nausea and dehydration. Due to the need of emergent use of CR, we stopped at this place. The guard stopped us first, then the receptionist who sternly enforced not to let us use their facility due to no prior accommodation policy. She said she will get in trouble if she will let us in. That time I was crying and begging because I was basically in the verge of fainting due to severe cramps and the need to use their CR. Finally that time I had to tell them I am a nurse and my husband and nephew ( all foreigners) are healthcare professionals who happened to serve people in need regardless of who they are( at this time I was 😭🙏🙏). Fortunately, the lady allowed me ( she has to get an OK from higher up) to use STAFF CR!!!Wow!!! That was a relief!!!! Despite of the filth, I was happy to do my thing. After all, the workers were just doing their job and never blamed them but, I believe there are exceptions to every rule.
This bad experience made me think that some tourists spots in Philippines are not ready for visit. We need public rest stops to use.

Price: 3.5/5 , quite expensive for a small place day trip tour (this price includes food) Food: 3.8/5, snacks and lunch served are fine but not wow. I already visited this place twice and their lechon baka (roasted beef) is consistently chewy. Customer Service: 5/5Staffs are all nice, and friendly. During our first visit there last year, the staff even offered to take photos of us in almost every corner of the place. Location: 5/5, beautiful as always ❤️ (Check the photos)
