Mezza Hotel — Hotel in Koronadal

Mezza Hotel initially caught my attention while browsing on Booking.com due to its appealing photographs showcasing spacious rooms and an affordable price point. Unfortunately, my actual experience at the hotel did not quite align with these expectations.

Upon arrival, I quickly realized that the room was not as spacious as it appeared in the online images. The photographs seem to have been taken strategically to make the room look larger than it truly is. This was a disappointment, particularly since I was looking forward to a more comfortable space during my stay. Additionally, I paid more than 2,000 pesos for the room, which I felt was not justified given the overall quality and experience. For this price, I expected more value and amenities than what was provided.

Another issue was the air-conditioning unit, which was excessively loud. The constant noise made it difficult to relax, especially during the night when I was hoping for a good night’s rest. Additionally, the comfort room (bathroom) had an unpleasant odor that lingered throughout my stay. This was particularly off-putting, as cleanliness and freshness are basic expectations for any hotel accommodation.

While the location and concept of the Mezza Hotel may initially draw attention, the actual experience left much to be desired. I believe there is significant room for improvement in terms of accurate representation of the rooms, maintenance of facilities, and overall guest comfort.

If you’re considering booking a stay here, I would recommend managing your expectations, especially if spaciousness and comfort are top priorities. While it may still be an option for budget-conscious travelers, I think there are likely better options available within a similar price range that would deliver a more satisfying stay. For the price, our stay was very good and comfortable. Check in and out was a breeze. The hotel is near the highway and close to transportation. Food places are also in the near vicinity, though you can opt to have deliveries via food app.||The room is nice and clean (as well as the whole hotel. Airconditioning works well and internet connection is reliable. They also have cable tv. Housekeeping is timely and prompt.||They don't have elevators so ask for lower floors if you'll have a hard time with the stairs. Sorry no photos but stayed here 28 to 31 Dec. Room was clean, and staff were great. They were attentive and helpful. If I have one complaint it's the lack of elevator. If you have a disability, definitely NOT a place for you because of the stairs. Don't expect too much in ways of toiletries, remember you get what you paid for.
