Jaimee's Hotel & Resort — Hotel in Leyte

We stayed in Jaimee,s Hotel from December 9, 2014 to January 10, 2015. The owner Imelda is so nice. She gave us the biggest and luxurius room called the honeymoon suite for such a reasonable price. This hotel is decorated with elegant furnitures. Each room are painted with nice color and delicate pastel or white tiles. We had a chance to sleep in different 4 rooms and we enjoyed them all. She made the best ice cream and fruit desert. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We really felt like home. The bedsheet are white cotton and some nice satin textile. We had the ocean panaroma. Great location and opposite a gorgeous church. The cook was excellent. We had sea food, fish, chicken and beef. We had filipino food and European. Varieties of breakfast but we always love fried rice with garlic, dried squid and scrambled eggs. The staff are also happy to serve our food in our room. We got to know all the 20 staff. Very helpful and so polite. I love the visaya language and accent. We would come back to this place anytime. Maasin City is the most reasonable price with transport, hotel, food and massage service. The people are honest and helpful. We felt so safe here and I went to the market everyday for fresh exotic fruit. We visited 2 resort in this area but Jaimee's hotel had the European standard. Very Poor service 👎👎. We often staying to this hotel because we found a nice seafood retuarant (sa Natad) and also nearby to living hope hospital. We still accepting their poor service even thoug. But our last time staying wont be acceptable which decides us not to staying to this hotel anymore. My partner got diarrhea from food poisoning. I need to send him to the hospital right away which 5 minutes away from this hotel. They asked me if do I have to extend more night. I told them honestly I can't decide it yet,it depends what the doctor's says. He might be admitted, we don't know. I asked them just give me 2 hours then I will come back and decide either to pack my things or staying more night. , just need to send him immediately and decide later. That time is 11 am,I'm asking only for 2 hours. Only us staying to this hotel that day, lots of vacant rooms. But unfortunately you never given us a good consideration to go to the hospital first. You want us to pack our things first and leave our luggage to the lobby. Jeez.. Gravi! The hotel is a beautiful place to rest your head after a long travel from Ormoc city. My wife Ester and me we picked this hotel for the beach and to spend time in the pool and the great location to visit three of the most important places to visit when you are visiting the area. One of which is the Mother Mary shine. The hotel Staff are friendly the breakfasts were delicious. My wife and l both sat outside on both days to eat breakfast. My wife had a philippines breakfast of fried dangit and I had a american breakfast of hotdog toast and fried egg. The beds are good as we both slept so well. We stayed at the hotel to have our long waited honeymoon for 2 days and 2 nights. As covid 19 stopped us having a honeymoon togther. The city is only 10 mins away by tricyle I find this the best mode of transport we we travel to and from this wonderful hotel. The hotel has wooden sculpture on a table on the landing near our room. I think it's from a famous British Sculptor James doran Webb which he has a studio in Cebu. I actually met him once when he was in the uk.My wife and l would like to say thank you to Imee and her staff for our beautiful relaxing stay.
