An intimate getaway that’s worth the drive from Metro Manila! They have rooms for solo travelers and couples and can also accommodate families and group of friends. Both pools are well-maintained and offer good views of the Taal Lake even though much of the resort is still under construction when we arrived. Restaurant is not yet operational so you’d have to bring food or order via Grab, but their in-house free breakfast was good and served on time. Could consider working remotely in the villa area since they have WiFi, cos signal in the room is a bit spotty. Inquiry, reservation and check in is seamless. They’re very responsive and welcoming, plus they give complete info on the directions. Thanks, Ms. Mae and staff! All in all, considering going back with family or working there remotely one day, hopefully restaurant is operational already by then :)

This place was an absolute sanctuary amongst the tree tops on the back side of taal volcano / lake. The views from the pool and sitting deck are unreal gorgeous. I booked one night here and did not want to leave so booked another night. I got the DELUXE AC SUITE, which is quite basic for a room to be honest but I didn’t care as the views, the scenery, the pool, and the hang out space near the pool was so amazing I didn’t want to be in my room at all. The family that’s here taking care of the guests and the property are super amazing. Kuya Richard one of the grounds men was super accommodating and helpful for us too. Everyone was great. Breakfast is simple but it’s great they offer an inclusive breakfast. Truly would stay here again without question. Thank you for the amazing time Balai Hiraya

Celebrated my partner’s birthday there and it seems we rented the whole place since we are the only guest. 😅 Anyways, the view was perfect! One of the best resorts we visited so far! Staff was very accommodating. The place was clean, and everything seems new. Some parts are still on renovation and other areas are still not open. However, it did not affect the overall experience. They have tables and chairs which can accommodate guests during our visit since the cottages are under renovation too. But you can book a room for a longer stay. We are only on day tour but we enjoyed the day so much!

We rented their villa. It was huge enough to accommodate us 16 adults plus 3 kids (aged 5 & below). The bedrooms were spacious and clean with good A/C. There was a kitchen that had all the basic things we need to cook. There were 2 living areas & a dining area with fridge and drinking water dispenser. But sad to say there was no A/C in these parts of the villa we had to open the bedrooms the whole time. The color of the walls was also not pleasing to the eyes, it was too yellow. The shower was big. The toilet was also ok in size but I saw some cobwebs and that was the only toilet (being a villa that can accomodate up to 20 pax). To make things worse, we found out in the middle of the night that it was locked (probably by one of the kids) and there was nobody available to assist us. We had to either go down to the pool area which was pitch dark or use the shower room to pee. The staff were all friendly and helpful though. Until after we checked out and found out that we left something, they were still ready to help. I almost forgot, the pool was clean. Overall, we still...
