I recently stayed at Kawai Beach Camp in Lobo, Batangas, from December 9th to the 10th. This trip, a gift from GMA Network friends, marked my first experience with glamping, a departure from my usual hardcore camping. The tent exceeded my expectations with its spacious and air-conditioned interior, providing a cozy retreat that felt like a luxurious room amid nature.

The amenities, including clean toilet and shower rooms, showcased the camp's attention to cleanliness. The friendly owners and helpful staff went above and beyond, providing essentials like towels, toiletries, utensils, and even ingredients. The on-site restaurant offered affordable and delicious dishes; our sinigang and garlic buttered shrimp were particularly noteworthy.

For the breakfast at the resort, I went all out with thekr bacon breakfast meal – the priciest (yet still affordable) on the menu. Totally worth it, that bacon goodness was absolutely yummy!

The beach boasted clear waters, with pebbled beds that were comfortably smooth. A delightful bonfire lit up the night, complemented by a treehouse beside our tent, offering a tranquil escape with a hammock and cool breeze. The added lights created a captivating ambiance, making our overnight stay feel too short.

Although our departure was prompted by work commitments and my impending international flight, Kawai Beach Camp left us yearning for a more extended stay. I highly recommend it; my inaugural glamping experience at Kawai Beach Camp was truly...

BEST PLACE EVER. Everything is great.

If you are looking for a place to just chill, relax and slow down in life, then this is the place. This is a great camp-like experience.

Weekdays are better for peace and quiet. The rocks, the sea and the view are amazing even if we arrived here on a cloudy day. My sister and I just enjoyed sitting and listening to nature.

They offer in-house cooking if you don't like to cook and their food is excellent. The cooking is spot on and we loved the servings and serving sizes. Plenty of options to choose from and free breakfast is available.

The place is well-maintained and kinda private, tents are spacious, and the service is top-tier.

The host and caretakers are very accommodating and caring. They are so hospitable. It felt like home. I will definitely try to stay longer the next time.

REMINDER:

The place is approximately around...

4 hours from Metro Manila 1.5 hours from Batangas City 2 hours from Lipa City

Travel times vary depending on the traffic, waiting times if you are on a commute, and other factors.

If you are commuting, drivers and locals are very friendly and proactive in guiding travelers to reach the destination.

Bus, jeep and tricycle are modes of transportation to...

Kawai Beach Camp is a great place to relax and unwind. Just around 3 hours away from Manila, the route is accessible and straightforward. The place has a very chill and refreshing vibe. The tents are spacious and comfortable to sleep in. The rest rooms and shower rooms are spacious and complete with amenities like soap, shampoo, clothes rack, bidet and sink. The tree house instantly became our favorite hangout place. The food servings are quite generous and the owner and staff are very hospitable. I felt very much at welcomed and comfortable with them. They provide the ultimate glamping experience for a very affordable price. This place is one of my favorite places I've visited this year and I cannot...
