Went to Sagada as a family of six age range from 10’s,20’s 50’s, and late 70’s. |Guess what? All of us loved Coffee Heritage. |With Vin as very welcoming and helpful. The place offers tranquility away from the town centre or gives a freshness or recharge your spirit after a hike or a gruelling 6 hour trip from Baguio. Food prepared by Vin and company was chef like on our tastes buds. Hubby prefer western food and it passed wonderfully on him and gave it 2 thumbs up. |Free coffee as many as you want.|We were fortunate to see the beautiful Milky Way At 4:00am outside the hotel before our early Marlboro trip. What a sight to behold with falling stars mesmerising us. |Dogs and chickens to entertain my city bred girl is good. |Experienced changing of weather from sunny to rainy thunderstorm that you just watch liw black clouds in front of you with awe. |It’s far from the main town which cost us Php600 each trip to town (he asked P500 each trip but for consideration on my part I added more) via a van which we managed to ask exclusively to service us to and from the places we want to see around Sagada. This uncle is a licensed tour driver so you don’t have to worry of overcharging. You can contact him at 09953630328. I did forgot to ask his name. |I’m giving this number as the hotel doesn’t have a contact no of any service van. He’s very good and safe driver. ||Only thing is our room is at basement. My 10 year old suffered allergic reaction from the smell of agricultural products they keep there. Other than that the place is great! |Good for people who wish to recharge and silence. Great for the 5 senses. Not good for people who are on tight...

Read moreThis hostel is beautiful, new and clean. Beds are comfortable and clean, and the common areas are nice (they even had an open fire!). There are beautiful views all around the hostel. Breakfast was included in the price and there's decent food available all day. Great tea and coffee too obviously! The location is great if you're looking for peace and quiet out of the town. After a ten minute walk you can hop on a jeepney to bring you to town to get a tour or you can simply hike solo around the hostel area. Despite lots of pros there are some cons. First and foremost - the staff. They are not unhelpful or impolite but also not very welcoming. They gave us the incorrect times for the jeepney and we had to hitch hike into the town to make out prearranged tour. Also, they did not pay attention to details. The bathroom ran out of toilet paper and was never replaced in the two nights we were there (luckily we had our own from the bus trip). I really think given how far out of town this hostel is they should run their own shuttle to town and back once per day. Maybe 9am to sagada town and 5pm back to the hostel. I think little things like that go a long way with guests (especially when the hostel gives the wrong times for the local transport services!!) P.S if you go to sagada try going mid-week. All of our tour guides said how lucky we were to have the trails to ourselves without crowds of...
