Eden Beach Resort Zambales — Hotel in Luzon

Very disappointed! Booked the 3-storey villa for a night. Travelled 5 hours only to find ourselves staying in an old, dirty and poorly maintained villa. • 2 rooms but only 1 has a bathroom inside. The room at the 2nd floor doesn't have its own bathroom so you need to go down to take a shower or use the toilet. You can choose from the shared bathroom or the bathroom in the room at the ground floor. • Bathrooms - both toilet and shower room inside the room at the ground floor are clogged. So yes, it gets flooded inside. Imagine how disgusting it is to step on a flooded floor just to use the toilet bowl or even just to brush your teeth. 2 of the 3 outside comfort rooms are also clogged. You cannot even completely close the doors especially the one with toilet bowl. Flush also doesn't work properly. Soap trays and towel racks are also dirty. • Faucets - 2 kitchen faucets are not working. It even has a strange sound. They just tied it to stop the water. The other 2 faucets in the better sink are too high and have very strong water pressure. • Light installation - not all lights are working. Some lights are not properly installed, not safe at all as it's hanging very low near the dining area. • Exposed wires - There are taped wires exposed on the side of the stairs • Paint on the facade is peeling off • The veranda at the 3rd floor was not cleaned. There were still used white cups scattered on the floor. • Dining area - Table is ugly and chairs are very old. Needs repainting. • Kitchen appliances - The only readily available is the gas stove. No oven toaster, no microwave, water dispenser has to be requested. • Water dispenser has molds. Good thing we brought our own water. • Glasses, spoons and forks have to be requested. If you don't ask for it, you will not have it. • Only the room at the ground floor has free bottled water • There is a television at the ground floor but there's no outlet to plug it LOL • Pillows are not good • No direct access to the pool • Very weak network signal. To access the wifi, you need to go near the reception in the next building. • Free breakfast is so-so • 20k per night is not worth the 5-hour drive and all the trouble you will experience in this resort • Overall, it's disgusting. They should not rent this villa out until it's fixed and...

Eden Beach Resort is one of the best pet- friendly Beach Resorts in the Philippines with the breathtaking "Swiss Alps"- like views from the roof deck! They have Beach Front Villas, Garden villas, & a hotel with incredible views! Beach Front Villas- waking up having the beach just a few steps away from you is such a wonderful experience. The villas (especially Villa 8) are strategically located so that by simply opening our curtains, we will automatically see the beach serenading us with its beautiful waves! Words can't describe how beautiful these villas are! It even has a balcony so that we can eat in there with the undisrupted views of the beach! Plus, it is pet- friendly!! Dogs are really happy here! (See photos) Hotel- The hotel is right across the villas and has lots of family rooms! The secret here is to go up its roof deck. It is so magical to see the spectacular Zambales beach that is soooooooooo clean + when you look to your left, the magnificent splendour of zambales will showcase itself- the stunning mountains of Zambales that looks like the Swiss Alps! The mountain view felt like its hugging my spirit and immediately took away all the stress I've had from work! Just staying up there for the views felt like a retreat! (See photos) Beach- Pristine-clean waters with fine sand! what i love about it is that the beach front is so wide and didn't feel crowded at all. I stayed until night time not only to see the sunset but also STARGAZE at night! Resting my whole body on the sand with the entire heavens filled with the stars is like a dream come true! My recent stay at Eden Beach Resort was initially met with a minor hiccup – the air conditioning in our room unfortunately malfunctioned. However, what followed was an exemplary display of proactive and truly outstanding customer service that turned a potential inconvenience into a testament to the resort's commitment to guest satisfaction. The moment we alerted the staff to the issue, their response was swift and incredibly apologetic. What truly impressed us was the immediate involvement of the manager/owner. Without any hesitation or debate, they took ownership of the situation and, to our pleasant surprise, offered to transfer us to a room in their brand new hotel building. This proactive solution was above and beyond what we expected. Instead of waiting for repairs or offering a temporary fix, they immediately prioritized our comfort and ensured we had a flawless stay. The new building was stunning, with modern amenities and, of course, perfectly functioning air conditioning. This experience highlights Eden Beach Resort's dedication to putting their guests first. The manager/owner's decisive action and willingness to go the extra mile by offering a transfer to a superior room in their new building truly demonstrated their commitment to ensuring a positive experience, even when unforeseen issues arise. While the initial AC issue was unfortunate, the resort's proactive and generous response completely overshadowed it. It showed us that they value their guests and are willing to take immediate and effective measures to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
