Small rooms, weak/absent WiFi/cell signal. Your room needs to be beside the lobby itself to get good cell/wifi signal. They should fire their network administrator. Or maybe they don't have one. It's very easy to boost WIFI signal if you don't mind buying extra routers. You can do the same to boosting cellular signals. Just buy signal boosters. If you're a travelling businessman who needs internet to do business, this hotel is terrible. It's acceptable if only one was available, but not getting either is not! If your hotel can't provide reliable WiFi connection, make sure cellular signal can penetrate inside the building. So that the guest can just use their data. If cell signal is poor, you need to ensure your entire hotel has WiFi coverage. Install routers at every critical spot (usually, 6 routers is enough for a hotel of this size).
They also don't allow you to park in front even if you're just going to unload your baggages from the car. They want you to walk and lug all your things from the parking at the back. And they won't even offer to help you with your luggages. They'll just watch you as you bring all your heavy stuff back and forth. Terrible...
Read moreThroughout the entirety of my time on Agoda, this hotel is the first who refused to accept my booking despite us having fully paid beforehand. This was supposed to be a repeat stay for us. We arrived at around 10:30pm expecting to be accommodated quicker since we booked ahead, online. However upon arrival, we were informed that they were fully booked and couldn’t receive us even if we already paid for the night. The staff on duty just kept refusing to take accountability of them overlooking our booking, and kept repeating that the previous front-desk didn’t reload the Agoda booking page and didn’t see our booking. The staff claimed that the manager was off-duty and couldn’t be contacted. We can’t cancel on our end of Agoda, and we left without a definite answer as to when our refund will come in, or whether we would actually receive a refund. The staffs are nice and accommodating but we encountered a minor problem. When we arrived on our 2nd night, we were about to park our van in front of the hotel however the guard told us to park on the other side since the parking lot we were parked into has been already reserved to somebody. It's not really a problem but we have parked there already at the first place... moving on...
