The boat from Subic to Emon Pulo arrived late, and we still had to wait for one of their staff to board, so we arrived at Emon Pulo late, and checked in late. For how much we were paying, we expected to be able to check in on time.
ROOM - spacious, but very hot. They didn't bother to cool the room before we arrived. The AC was very small for the room's size, so it took HOURS before the room cooled. It wasn't until night time that the room cooled.
WIFI - signal was weak inside the room. More often than not, I can't connect. Somehow the TV was getting Netflix and YouTube though. Wifi in the restaurant and outside the room was okay though.
BATHROOM - Good water pressure in the faucet and shower, but bidet is unusable. We had two rooms, both bidet barely had any water coming out of it.
BEACH - it's okay, nothing noteworthy about it. But it suddenly gets deep, and the sand shifts beneath your feet so it's not safe for kids who can't swim.
POOL - there is only one and it's very small. When a big group arrived with plenty of kids, they basically took over the whole pool. We couldn't use it anymore.
RESTAURANT - food tasted good. The menu didn't have any drinks, and we were not offered any drinks at all other than water. You have to specifically ask if they have fruit shakes or softdrinks or beer if you want one.
BREAKFAST - tasted good again, but it took very long to arrive. Coffee was bland. Good thing we brought our own coffee. They did give my 2 daughters melon shake for free though because they don't drink coffee.
WATER ACTIVITY - Jetski and Fly Fish was so much fun!

We booked private trf boat (costing to 24k) but only to find out that they need to maximize the boat coz the "other boat" is under repair. We waited for almost 4 hrs from the original pick up schedule of 1230pm, no advise from the resort, when we called, they never answered, they just advised us that their boat needed repair through text after several sent messages and long waiting. We have not taken our lunch yet coz we were planning to have it in the resort then go Island Hopping in the afternoon.
On our way back to Subic, they have maximized the boat even more, some guests are in the open part of the speedboat (coz they have one closed room with AC). Unfortunately, there are already guests inside and our group was left outside only to get wet (coz of tides) and super hot (coz of heat coming from exhaust fan of AC). They should not be asking the guests to stay in that location, we all are paying the same amount so we should all be getting the same comfortness and satisfaction. It's really a terrible experience. My very first time to encounter this kind of situation.
Hope that Emon Pulo will improve their customer service and have an open and transparent communication to all their guests. The place is a bit expensive, we are willing to pay 24hrs luxury but the kind of relaxation we were expecting did not happen so it's very disappointing.

I wanted to share our dining experience as this may help to improve the resort’s service. During dinner, my family and I were the only one eating in the restaurant. Food has already been served but serving spoons were not prepared. There are no table napkins and condiments on the table and upon asking for it, it took a long time for them to get it. We already finish eating before it arrived on our table. Their reason was their stock room was already close and kitchen is also far. The same thing happened during our breakfast the next day. It would have been nice to have a comfortable dining experience.
