Nice rooms and it's design. Wondered how long did the hotel existed. Though it looks like that old enough and needs renovation due to lack of facilities like elevator but it is still nice and good. Accomodating staff specially Sir Freddie, the banquet manager assigned to our event.. I have been in Taal Vista for so many times and witnessed their parade of waiters.. their dancing waiters and waitress before they serve food for the VIP and a lot of restos does the same but La Parilla's cake torch parade is truly awesome and new to me!

The worst stay I've had here since last year. The air-conditioning is not cool enough and the shower is broken. I even found trash and used tissues on the bedroom drawers WTH! They do not check the room before accepting guests which is i think should be a minimum standard or SOP on a hotel or lodge. Not even passed as one star hotel. Will not recommended this time. :-(

Rooms are well kept, worth the price. But for small hotels like this, I wish they would at least knock it up a notch on small details. Breakfast is of very small portion, it is cold when served, and just two variants at the time: tocino or omelet. Loud music at the restaurant doesn't fit the dainty feel of interiors.

Stayed April 10 to 25,2019.the hotel not clean, lots of dust everywhere in the room,no plastic cup, no chair to sit if you want to watch TV, old bed , pillows hard ,air condition noisy, dresser mirror old and scratchy with cigarette burn, bad smell in the room, ants everywhere and also in the bathroom sink, stain in toilet bowl like poop ,pressure water low and cold ,stains every corner of the bathroom and door. I think the front desk ladies don't know what they doing because we gave them the key to clean our room in the morning and when we came back night time our room still not clean. They said sorry and they will clean right away. This happened not only once but 4 times and they always say sorry. We want to talk to supervisor or the manager in charge there to report them that they are not doing their job but they always said they left already and sometimes they said they are not there. I booked here because it's near to church, market and malls and I thought this is the la parrilla hotel 40 years ago. If I can get my money back I will not be stuck here for 12 days. They have free breakfast but you have no choice and give you less than 2oz coffee in the small cup and my husband wants refill and the girl said we have to pay,and and my husband said what kind of hotel is this we have hotels in America we serve free breakfast eat and drink coffee and juice as much as you want but for small cup of coffee you will charge. I will not recommend this hotel because they don't treat their guests nicely and for the owner of la parrilla, renovate and update the hotel and hire the people who good talking to the guests and you will be the number # 1 hotel in...

Stayed April 10_12,2019, the room on the third floor smells bad, lots of dust and TV and phone not working. April 15_25,2019, we stayed on the second floor, the room smells and lots of dust again old and cigarette burn dresser table mirror and bathroom sink lots of ants. The bed old and pillow hard, the towel old and the bathroom not clean and the toilet bowl with stains like poop and water pressure low and cold water. Front desk ladies don't know what they doing because we gave our key to them to clean our room but when we came back from that night our room still not clean. We want to talk to their managers or supervisor about this situation but they always said they left already and they are not there. About the free breakfast my husband asked for refill for coffee and the girl said we have to pay for the second cup..my husband said why do we have to pay the coffee you gave us not even 2oz.we had hotels before in America and we know the rules and regulations and how you gonna get a lot of customers if your worker doesn't know how to talk and deal with the customer if you want your business to be successful hire people who know how to talk nicely and know how to deal with the customers and make them happy and satisfied. If only we can get our money back we will not be stuck here for 12days and we will not be coughing, sneezing and allergies from the smell and dust...

Checking in was a breeze. There are no lifts for this hotel. Luckily my room was on the 2/f. A bell hop was always around to assist. |There's free wifi but the signal did not reach my bed. Air conditioning was superb. Old tv but that was okay since I just needed a little news update. The restroom had ants crawling on the side of the sink. |Ugh. |The hotel provided 1 bath towel, a small toothbrush for 1 use, small toothpaste, soap and shampoo with conditioner. No cup or glass. Added to the fact that water was just trickling. Maybe water supply was poor because of the flood and storm that hit the area last month. |Bed was flat but clean enough. |I was not able to sleep for the first night since in front of my window was a big compressor for the air conditioning system elsewhere. I am saying elsewhere since my room had a window-type of air con and not the split type that needs a big compressor. Each time the fan blades of the compressor hit metal I wake up. Also, I hear their door bell ringing to call on the bell hop. It was the sound of a door bell" so at first I kept on standing up to see if someone was at my door. |Breakfast was free if you will have tuna and eggs. It was okay. The conference room was big enough with good air conditioning sustem and sounds, accommodating around 200 pax. Sadly the restroom in the conference room had no water! Ugh. |I slept well on the 2nd night since I was so tired. |I hope they renovate this hotel. It would have had a lot of...
