Was there with my wife for roundabout 7 days for a family reunion.||Rooms are large, loud (there is an event place and a Waterpark nearby, so expect loud people and loud music) and the service is lousy. ||When we arrived, after a long drive, they gave us the wrong keys. Ok, that can happen. ||WiFi didn't connect or was super poor. ||Safe didn't open. Had to call reception and they gave us the key instead of putting batteries in. ||Asked for a bottle of water (30p per liter) and they brought us a gallon container. ||No towels. Had to ask reception. Again. ||No toilet paper. Guess? Had to ask reception. ||Luckily we had earplugs, so the noise was dealt with. ||Next morning: the so called "complimentary breakfast". Which means they charge everyone for it in the room costs. As nothing is for free. ||We asked for a vegetarian breakfast. Turns out they do know what vegetarian means,as they suggested dishes with meats and chicken. ||OK, had to explain. No problem. ||But then we waited for almost 50 min until they delivered. And they forgot the hot water for my tea, so she had to go again.||Next day, the same. My wife was asking: can you bring it within 10min,as we will be picked up in a bit? ||Answer: I'm sorry, we are only two and there are a lot of orders. ||So Macagang charges for breakfast and makes it difficult for people to get it. And colls it complementary breakfast, as they would do me a favor with it. That's really bold! ||All in all i wouldn't go there again. Just in case of emergency, as nothing else would...
Read morestayed here last week for 2 nights, 10 min away from my parents house in Santiago Old, Nabua,||I walked in with no reservations on a weeknight, and the Front Desk staff was happy to accommodate, sensing that I looked tired.||They offered an Executive King Suite, which I did see prior to check-in, and it was quite spacious with a dining table, desk and living space with a large shared veranda area to access the pools. Although I was pleasantly surprised of the room rate at P3,400 which ($78.00) similar to a superior King room at Avenue Plaza in Naga, it seemed high for the area and overall property amenities. ||Some opportunities for the Hotel Operations Managers:||- Suite was not serviced completely with missing bathroom towels and amenities||- No hangers, had to asked||- Bed incomplete setup||It was obviously Not Inspected prior to releasing the Suite, possibly even an out of service room, and for the price and my expectations, I was expected nothing less than a fully inspected and detailed accommodations.||What made up for the inconvenience is the sincere intention of every Registration staff and Bellman that assisted to make it right. Thank you Edgar and Gemima Grace.||Overall the property needs some TLC to include the public areas, but the Staff service is very good...
Read moreThe room have good space, however the facilities really disappoint me. From the toilet, there is no exhaust fan, the rod of the curtain was rusty same on the shower nozzle. There is no selection of hot and cold water, the ceiling was full of spider web, fridge was outdated same as AC. The hotel was so noisy especially in the day.I believe the owner need to work a lot for the improvement of the hotel, given the price in the area, its not a reasonable one. I try also to visit the restaurant both in Hotel and in the centre, they are also outdated. Food was ok. The staff was polite and majority are student doing internship, I wish they will have better training, I feel like they still shy to communicate with the guest. The reception help me a lot as I arrive an hour before standard check-in. Thank you for the staff but not to the owner who run this business. He still have a long way to learn in the industry,I believe people have no option in the area thats why they don't have choice when they have function and weeding. I also see that they are constructing new wing, seems like they are expanding, yet they don't even pay attention on the existing one. I only wish some new hotel will rise to the area in order for them to understand competition so that they look after on...
