Pangil Beach Resort — Hotel in Luzon

The staff was accommodating. Good!||The room we were into almost got on fire! Terrible experience!! The panel box emitted bluish smoke! Scary! Good thing i didnt panic. I took my children and valuables outside right away!|The lavatory drain was clogged. Toilet flush didnt work! Under the bed was dusty. AC was low 27 degrees inside! Huh!||Although they were kind enough to grant my request to move us to another room, it took time for them to decide to move us. With my prodding of course! Anyway...||I was well aware that their beach has rocks-sharp rocks, so, my expectation was to have a clean pool BUT Kiddie pool was dirty (green color) and grown up pool needs a clean up.||My goodness! I can't recommend this to anyone.||I didnt get any pictures at all because i do not want to remember our experience staying at this resort! ||I hope the owner can read this so they can investigate whatsgoing ons at their hotel.||Thanks...

Coming from La Union, we were hoping to get a good hotel in the Ilocos Region. It was getting dark and for one reason or another this was the only hotel in the area that had WiFi (mind you only in the lobby) and was near the beach. We just grabbed it because we didn't want to look for a other place, also because it is so far inside that it is a lengthy drive to go back out. The room is not in a good shape, the food was not that tasty, again there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, the billiard tables required a deposit and playing was allowed only until 12 midnight. Plus they did not have hot showers. We will never return...

The beach is very nice place to spend some time. The price of the Bamboo cottages is a little pricey and empty almost everyday which mean there’s no business. I suggest that the owner charge by the hour and put the price down so the cottages pay off faster and start making money. More are going to the price friendly for the locals and foreign tourists. ILocos Norte have lots of very nice tourist spots like this just not so popular as the south like Palawan and Cebu. The best way to bring the tourists is quality service and affordable price, better than in the south . Plus, good advertising and not only...
