If 0 star was available, I’d put that. We have had the worst experience, wasted both our time and money. Upon booking, the resort promised amenities to be available for our use during our stay. In particular, we were expecting use of the pool, as we had children with us and we planned to have them safely enjoy the pool, as the beach would be too unsafe for them due to the strong/ unpredictable waves (which we anticipated). Let me reiterate that we willingly paid the high fees to stay at this resort for two nights -as we were expecting both children and adults would enjoy all the promised amenities. However, upon check in we were greeted with disappointment when the Manager informed us that the pool is currently being cleaned and will only “be ready by 7AM the next day”, which let me tell you was not the case the day after. The pool remained filthy and unavailable for our use, as it was not cleaned as PROMISED. Upon enquiring in the morning the day after. We were told by a staff that the pool cannot be used and nor can it be cleaned, as their maintenance guy doesn’t work on a Saturday.??!!! Said staff then proceeded to recommend for us to wait to speak with the Resort Manager, who will be not even be at work until 10AM. Imagine our frustration! We later found out that the Pool has not been maintained for two months & their excuse was that the executive suit is barely ever booked (As guests, this is not our problem). Let me also add, room amenities and size did not match the deceitful pictures posted online. Although, our disappointment did not end there. Upon deciding to cancel the remaining day/night we had left on our booking. To our dismay, the Resort owner refuses to provide us refund for at least half of our booking. Upon check in, all rooms and amenities, should be ready for our use, or be available soon after check in. Information/ pictures provided online must be the true match of the actual resort in person. Worst case scenario, guests must be provided accurate information & or relevant compensation should be offered, so wasted time and money can be avoided. If we would have known that we would be waiting for nothing and that we would be “catfished”; we would have cancelled both our nights at the resort. Instead, our time & money was utterly WASTED. Resort Owner will be served.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Beachfront Stay at Pipa de Playa – Beautiful Views, But Needs Improvement We recently stayed at Pipa de Playa, an accommodation with direct beachfront access and a beautiful sunrise view. The place offers flexible room options for 2 pax, 4 pax, and even large groups up to 15 pax, which is great for families or barkada getaways. Each room also comes with a complimentary breakfast. However, our dining experience was quite challenging. During our stay, most dishes on the menu were unavailable, leaving us with very few food choices. BUT WE LOVE THE FOOD. On top of that, there was a very long waiting time for orders—our group of four had to wait almost two hours before being served since there’s only one staff handling the cooking and other tasks. If you’re planning to dine in, we recommend ordering your food way ahead of time. Breakfast starts at 10am, so I think it's not breakfast anymore. We really suggest to open the breakfast a little earlier if the resort does not allow outside food. We also noticed that the staff, while accommodating, lacked warmth and friendliness but kuya who fixes the chairs and other stuff outside is a little friendlier—something we usually expect in the hospitality industry. Hopefully, this can be improved in the future. On the positive side, their café is spacious, and it’s a good spot to relax, work, or charge your phone/laptop while enjoying their tropical drinks. Just take note that the resort has no dedicated parking area; instead, you’ll need to pay for parking at a nearby resort. Since the property is currently under renovation, guests should expect some delays and ongoing construction in certain areas. 👉 Overall, Pipa de Playa has a lot of potential thanks to its prime beachfront location and spacious rooms, but service speed, food availability, and staff hospitality still need improvement. With better staffing and completed renovations, this could be a much better experience in the future. P.s. They are renovating and slowly improving the over-all experience so please bring patience and understanding.

A Profound Disappointment – Not Worth Your Time or Money Our experience at this resort was a major letdown, to the point where we decided to leave early. We had hoped for a relaxing stay but were met with repeated frustrations and poor management. 1. Parking The resort charges ₱200 for parking, yet the parking area is inconveniently located a 4-minute walk away. 2. Cleanliness Our room had noticeable stains on the curtains, leaving us with the impression that maintenance and attention to detail are not priorities here. 3. Food The dining experience was another source of disappointment. Many menu items were unavailable, and the dishes that were served were dry and tasted reheated. 4. Amenities The pool, one of the key amenities, was out of service due to maintenance that had reportedly been ongoing for months. 5. Service The service was one of the biggest letdowns. On our second day, we went to the cafe at 10 AM for breakfast, only to find it closed with no staff in sight. With no alternative dining options and a policy prohibiting outside food, we were left without any options. Communication was equally poor—when we informed the resort thru chat about our early checkout, their only response was to “leave the keycard at the lobby.” The lack of professionalism and care was disheartening. Final Thoughts This resort failed on nearly every front—poor service, lack of cleanliness, subpar food, and broken amenities. The overall experience was disappointing and far from the relaxing stay we had hoped for. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this resort to anyone.
