I was looking for a beach front resort in Aurora to spend time with family when I stumble upon Punta Sierra Verde Resort and Hotel. We arrived around seven in the evening and they were expecting us, so check in was fast and we were upgraded from duplex to hotel room at the ground floor. The room very basic but also very clean and with air condition and water heater, no television in our room but we don't need it. The bed is comfortable and the hotel provided us extra mattress at no extra cost. The food at the small cafe was simple but yummy and the price very reasonable. The ground well maintain and pool very clean and with lifeguard. We all enjoy swimming at the pool and playing at the beach. The resort itself is shielded from one side by the Sierra Madre mountains and the Casiguran bluff facing the sea. Sheltered. It is a resort with wide a expanse of real property, almost olympic-sized infinity pool, well-maintained and manicured grounds. Staff is excellent and friendly. There's even a house reef just in front of the resort! At the moment, there's a 2.5 km unpaved serpentine section of the mainroad going to Punta (from Manila, Baler, Isabela) but road builders were working overtime to remedy this tiny travel 'inconvenience'. It should be paved by end of March 2017. . . i will know, because my family plans to go back...
