Positives: One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. Although it's not white sand, it's still sublime. The view is so scenic. The water is pristine. It's a very peaceful place. Our dog enjoyed running around the area. The food in their restaurant is really delicious. The waiters are very polite and helpful. The surroundings are clean and well-maintained Overnight guests are allowed to use their kayak boats for free. Very pet friendly. Security guard was so helpful. He carried our baggage to the reception area. The shower works fine (although the bidet was leaking and the toilet flush was a bit broken). Heater is working. AC is working. Beautiful swimming pool. Swimmable ocean water. Negatives: Rooms have thin walls so the noise outside and the other rooms is pretty audible. They had a movie night and the volume was too loud even though we were inside our room to relax. We couldn't rest well. Our room didn't have towels ready so I had to go back to the reception area to ask for a couple of it. Good thing they immediately delivered it to our room. Staff at the reception area aren't that friendly. I arrived at 1pm but according to Agoda check-in time is 2p. When I asked If we could do an early check-in, the lady there just told me no. She didn't even ask for my name or my booking reference and just left me there hanging. Good thing they have a resto so I just stayed there with my partner waiting for the check-in time. When I also wanted to confirm that the actual check-in time is 2pm, she just told me it's 3pm. I told her it's 2pm as per Agoda, she just told me it's not updated. Good thing they allowed me to check-in at 2pm as the room we booked was already vacant. Point is the staff at the reception area lack customer service skills and initiatives. You can tell that the rooms are old but it does not necessarily mean they're bad. They're just old looking.

Location is great ample space to park. Road going to resort needs to be resurfaced due to pot holes making cars semi difficult to drive. Customer Service/Management was pleasant and easy to talk to. Always willing to help most of the time. Food is great from Filipino dishes to American dishes. Shakes are seasonal surprising they didn’t have coconut shake. We got to do some kayaking and swam the beach. They had an endless pool which was great for kids since it’s not deep. Rooms could be better. The CASA rooms are acceptable but a major flaw is the bathrooms. This my major two cents here. “If you build it they will come” literally I mean make the bathrooms workable from the shower heads, heater, toilet lids. The one I was at had the lid falling apart. If they had beautiful bathrooms they would increase tourist by 50%+ just by renovating the BATHROOM. Don’t get me wrong I really like the place but experiencing sub standard amenities especially the bathrooms it becomes a disappointment for any visitors. Last thing is invest on a good wifi for the guest. The one I used was cutting off/on.

They were short staffed. One of the group got there ahead, and already way beyond check in time, but they did not allow them to check in and get into the room until the person who made the reservation arrived. It's ridiculous since they know we are a big group and 50% paid already. Meal choices were being forced on us because they could no longer accommodate different orders. Fun activities which was part of the package was not being given because it was windy if we did not insist, we would not even be able to kayak. Premier room 1&2,, the air-con unit was old, it would not cool the entire room. The group could not sleep comfortably. We made do. Other than that, the view is still stunning. I like that they allow pets. But a lot has changed. The big chess is no longer there. The garden is gone too. The hanging chair, similar to a swing or hammock is gone. I would still go back. But I suggest not at the peak season.

Place is beautiful and clean. Pool is nice and enjoyable for the kids.

Food is delicious but the service was bad. They may be understaffed at the time but for the price you pay it was worse than other resort/hotels that are relatively priced.

They provide glasses for drinking but no pitcher of water. Makes you purchase several bottles of bottled water. We were a large group of over 20 pax so that makes it impractical. Or when you are into spending time with a bit of class or wanting to make meal special for an occassion, drinking out of a plastic bottle or having it in the table kinda spoils it. hehe some dish are excessively drenched in oil. No tv, phone to contact front desk, weak wifi, no fridge, only a couple of chairs to lounge around. Worst, no water heater and tea cups for having coffee in the morning. let alone, choices of coffee and tea. We just laughed it off cause we felt like we were just having a camping trip as we go between our rooms to scrounge for things to enjoy the morning. You cant ask the front desk as they were closed at 7am. fellow patrons are also doing the same things and we just laugh it off together as we greet each other and mention things like the lack of water, and cups to drink with.

We wasted time going about and borrowing things off of other visitors instead of just readily enjoying a hot coffee.

Ordering for meals are not flexible. I was up as early as 4am but as we were in a large group, the others decided to sleep in. We tried ordering at 8am but was denied as they said breakfast meals are ordered and already cooked for 8am. We stayed at the hotel and skipped a proper breakfast 😅 together with the kids and older people. You either eat outside (you're already in a resort though), or skip breakfast altogether. At those prices you may even expect an included breakfast buffet. Luckily, we had a bit of food for the road trip and junkfoods.

Kayak equipments were forbidden to be used. but to be fair, a bit of wave can be dangerous to weaker or non-swimmers as the beach has sharp pebbles and boulders underwater.

The place is beautiful but may lack better management or they dont expect that much customers anymore. Lowering prices and changing into a semi-self service set up may help.

Disclaimer: I purposely write too much ( but actually honest) review. Cause I dont intend to malign the place. Just want to write things off on the internet the people dont really pay...

Since this pandemic happened, me and my family didn’t have a chance to have a family outing. So, my parents planned to have a 2 days and 1 night stay at this particular resort which is just 1hr drive from our home. We are only 4 in the family so my mother reserved a room with two beds, but when my mother is talking to the resort representative who will likely make the reservation, she told my nanay that the Resort is offering a promo. Their promo is 50% off in their accommodation per day plus if you will opt to stay for 2nights you can avail their additional promo for one night stay for free, 2+1 promo.||So yea, it was a good first impression for us. When we arrived at the resort, there was no bell man or representative to assist us with our bags but that wasn’t new to me. We get our keys and put our things in the room. Well, the room was pretty nice, the air conditioner was working pretty well and the ambiance felt like you’re home. We had the unli samgyupsal for our dinner, yes you have the grilling pan and stuffs but I can’t really feel the ambiance compared when you dine-in in a korean restaurant like Samgyupsalamat or Romantic Baboy. But the other food that we prder like the fries, their pancit and their clubhouse was quite delicious. The pool was good but not great, the good thing about it is that the area or the position where the pool is located is perfect, in the sense that you can view the sea but at the same time you are being surrounded by coconut trees. The sea was also crystal clear even though it's not a white sand beach. They also have free use of Kayaks which adds a lot of fun. One of the highlights in our stay was the service of their housekeepers, they are very accommodating and you feel comfortable whenever you need their assistance or if you ask for room service. ||But on the contradictory side of our stay was their tap water, I mean like the water running out from their faucet it literally taste like water with salt 🤮🤮. I hope they will look at it as a priority because they are one of the most known resorts here in our province and if they won’t take action for that they might lose their reputations. Those are just small details of the resort but will affect a huge impact on their brand. Overall, our stay was...
