Location with fabulous views, incredibly clean, friendly and helpful staff, vegan food options. +Our Deluxe Villa (more bungalow) location was directly on the water, with uninhibited views of the water and over to the hills and mountians of Negros from our covered balcony. It is as described and excellent value for money. +Very clean, with a newly renovated bathroom (for our bungalow). Warm water shower and air conditioning and fan unit with a good number of options (ie fan only or level of coolness), as well as a table top fan. For us, it was our cleanest place yet by far in this price range. And they offer to clean the room every 2 days. +Bungalow was all in wood and bamboo giving a homely feel. Many hooks inside with table and two chairs by the window. Windows were one glass for privacy. +Very friendly and helpful staff (Lisa) who is good at understanding what help you need. +The menu impressively has several vegan options including soy 'meat'. This is helpful on a number of levels, particularly as there's not a lot of food options nearby. Great views from the cafe, we spent most of a rainy day hanging out here. +While next to the main road and some housing nearby, it is very restful (although when we arrived there was a karaoke party for some guest, which is rare). +They can help arrange transport and have a scooter they rent for 350 pesos/day. The scooter is well used, occasionally needs a kickstart and the suspension is a bit gone. We would have gotten a different one if there was an option. However, the main road has a very regular bus, which also gives options for visiting places, and tricycles also travel the main road. +Seriously, so comfortable by the water! And so clean! Not really any improvements as everything has been thoughtfully organised with travellers in mind. Only thing to suggest could be more help with scooter options, and perhaps a table lamp in the room.

This place is perfect for back packers or people that just want to relax in a nice and quiet place without paying alot of money. My girlfriend and I stayed in a bongalow with a small bathroom, nothing speciel but it was okay. There was a double bed with mosquito net, a fan and a small air conditioner. Which made a lot noise! So we preferred to sleep with the fan on. The staff and owners are extremely nice, they will do everything to help you and give you recommendations along your way. You can rent motor bikes or scooters here for 500 peso per day. The staff has good connections with other locals to arrange guided tours which was awesome. They also have there own cars and is willing to drive you to your next destination on Cebu, for a reasonable price. The food is decent, but nothing extraordinaire. We however notice that some other guests used there kitchen, so that is another option. We had a lovely stay and they are constantly expanding and enhancing the reaort. I'm looking forward to coming back here.

Amazing view! Great selection at their restaurant. Easily accessible by public bus service : pick up and drop off right at the door. We are not super picky so our stay here was perfect but the house geckos and thin walls might bother some. Possibility to rent motor bikes and kayak. They have a billiard table and a small pool. You can snorkle right in front of the resort. Quiet and relaxing. On a clear day you can see all the mountains of Negros island. You can also meet other travelers here. The town has a few restos/shops and is 20 min walk or 3 min scooter ride away. People are walcomi g, we finally had a taste of philippino hospitality that you don't always fimd in more touristic areas. Some waterfalls are accessible nearby also.

I just want to respond to the owner on booking.com since we cannot respond there. The answer of the onwer is in the picture.||||We did not Ask about the prices of the tours we just did the one to that small island over there. You had a friend Who could take us there for 1200 but we quickly found people who would do it for 1000. I don’t know where you got the idea from especially since we rented a scooter for a couple of days and wanted to find everything on our own. We didn’t want to go whale shark watching in Oslob because and I don’t know what pescador is. We never spoke about that. ||||Drives for free?? If you are reverting to Sumilon Island then yes. If we book a tour by you we expect the price to be included. If you say it will cost 1200 but to take you there it will cost you 2000. Of course we will say no. You then offered us the scooters so there was no problem. We never mentioned that.||||And then the room part: the toiletseat was broken and glueded together and the shower-curtains where torn. That was the issue with the rooms. We did not take pictures of it because we didn’t want to make you look bad. ||||The restaurant was mildly-oke. Breakfast was fine but the diners where a bit poor. ||||It was however not communicated that the pool was closed. There was a France couple with kids who also didn’t know that and you offered them a place nearby to swim but not to us. That is it open now is none of our concerns.||||Our biggest issue was the last day. I asked you to call a cab for us and you refused. Instead you kept calling “friends” to drive us to a boat we needed to catch. As we stayed on the island we saw more than a couple of cabs and there where plenty of white vans. When you had somebody to drive us for 40km and lay us pay 3000 that’s to much. And yes he drove 90km because he went around the island instead of trough the mountains so we know he drove further then 40km but he didn’t have to. You said we would be there in 10-15 minutes. We waited for an hour and 45 minutes. We even stopped a van who had a small ride but could be back in 20 minutes and it would cost us 2000 instead of your 3000 but we thought that would be rude so we waited...and waited and waited..||||This is why we gave you a mildly review. The only part that was good is because it is cheap so what can you ask for that kind of money. We didn’t have you a bad review so your reaction is not needed. Your review score is way off to us it would be a 6-7. If we knew that we wouldn’t have booked it. Since your reaction wich is mostly lies I would say it would be a...
