Room: We booked the Family room it was located at the back of the hotel facing the pool area. It has 3 beds. The beddings smells old perhaps it shows that the room is rarely booked/used. It has a wooden cabinet which smells old. There's a mirror just beside the cabinet with an old steel chair that creeks like its gonna broke. The bathroom was not nice. Yes it has a bidet but you have to use the bidet to fill the toilet tank as it take forever to fill. My sister had a minor accident in the shower she slipped while bathing. The tiles are very slippery and the shower door is stuck you cannot close it. Therefore the shower drippings are everywhere. It has a water heater which obviously doesn't work. In addition, the night lamp switch does not work. Overall the room does need renovations and maintenance. Very old setup to be specific time to switch to modern. Pool: The C shaped pool is maintained but the olympic pool below is so creepy the dept is 5ft. to 12ft. it has grasses growing no one swims there except for kids/teens schedule for swimming training. My niece is a competitive swimmer I accompany her while she does a few laps and IM but I had to force her to stop as the water is blurry and I can feel that Eerie thing everywhere. Service: If you happen to checkin and the front desk attendant is a male you are lucky he is very good. If you get to face the Lady attendant you'll be pissed. She is more attentive to her phone rather than to assiting the guests. Location: Very convenient it is along the road. Experience: Just okay!

Northland Resort Hotel is obviously Manapla's pride. It offers a place for the families esp to those who are living in the northern part of Negros Occidental fun and entertainment. It's so close to the main highway of Manapla. Venues for weddings, birthdays or other events are available in Northland which are equipped with good lights and sounds too. Overnight rooms are also available for those who wanted to spend the night amd relax away from home. Indoors boasts restaurants, stores, clinics, bowling and other sports facilities while the outdoors boasts big swimming pools thats actually awesome for people from all walks of life. Imagine little kids as young as a year old can enjoy their first pool bath thanks to the different shallow/deep levels of the pool.

They upgraded our room from Junior room to Family room without extra charges. Airconditioning need extra maintenance it builds ice in radiator.. Pool is clean. Free breakfast is limited selection. There is a food stalls inside the building. Location is outside the center of municipality but they have 24/7 convenient store. Parking space is huge. Very good staff and always smiling. Recommended for family and couple get away.

I stayed in the Presidential Suite because I had extra family to host. I guess I expected a little better. On the positive side, they have absolutely improved their WiFi - connection was perfect, as good as the 5 star I had left in Bacolod. The room was large, with lot of furniture and bedding, and the size worked out well for the family. My complaint is this - this was an ambitious and somewhat decently constructed resort, but the lack of maintenance has sent it backwards quickly. Drop a piece of food on the floor and ants will be all over it, and when you look closer they are near the floor windows, and in the CR hunting for water. Dear Maintenance - work on your insect problems. Also, the room had a nice divider of bamboo slats - well, once upon a time it did. One panel was missing and the one "moveable panel" was smashed off its track and the thing was a shambles. Pity. The courtyard has a nice looking fountain, but I'm guessing it hasn't functioned in years and is now just a catch basin for mosquito larvae. Really, why not throw a few pesos at this kind of problem at your "high end" rooms and get it fixed? And while you're at it, put a fresh coat of paint not the rain-beaten, weathered patio floor up there? Actually, looking at the door to our room, I think some scenario had unfolded where someone couldn't get in the room because the lower portion of the door looked like it had obviously been kicked in. Not very secure. The food vendors in the lower hall serve the local filipinos well, but the flies are really so numerous - really, can something not be done about that? I work hard to remind myself I am way out int he province in this Philippine location, but the effort to stay at the level it should be seems very minimal to me? So, in closing... I would dearly love to be the manager of this resort and I would get my maintenance team in order because this place is taking a horrible...

First day I arrived, I inspected the room, it looked clean and nothing major to complain about.||When I entered the washroom a Giant cockroach greeted me by coming out from behind the towel.||It was so big and beautiful I could not bring myself to kill it, instead we became friends. I tried talking to it, it moved its antennas. But when I approached it, it ran away and hid under the queen bed.||The AC wasn't working well. It looked like it was on it's last breath barely cooling a section of the living room.||Wi-fi was so so... some moments good, some moments non existent.||My first night sleeping there I woke up around 2 am from the heat and saw my friend the cockroach with another having a conversation next to my slippers near the bed.||I let them be.||Next morning I was preparing to go out when I heard a crunch. My girlfriend had just killed my little friend.||That was the most down part of my hotel room experience.||Bed was comfortable.||Pool was fun.||Breakfast in the hotel was delicious.||Location was good also.||||I would return but the negative reviews lately...
