The Hotel is located next to/inside a shopping mall. Check in took some time in that I was given a number and had to wait in the lobby until called. Check in was more convenient and quicker for me than other patrons in that I booked this room in advance. || Access to the was gained via electronic key card contained inside a leather like cover. Power to the room was turned on with the key card being inserted in a wall slot (I didn't like that fact that the leather cover interfered with key card insertion). || Upon entry across the the door is a small space with a shelf for luggage. below the shelves was a tray on caster to serve meals on. || To the right of the entry is another space and the entrance to the restroom. The rest room condition was better than expected; clean with a western style toilet, sink, and shower. || to the right of the rest room. was a large space containing the queen sized bed, and a night stand to the left of the bed. The sheets supplied were thin, the bed hard but not uncomfortable. The AC was cold. The temperature could not be controlled, only powered on/off. There is a decent selection of cable channels, and a few adult channels as well. There is full room service and a restaurant, with more option available in the mall and shops next to the hotel. || This place is a Love/short time hotel, so is not family friendly, but more than...

But we need to pay 10 hours??!!! ECONO Room is not available??!!! Though this is still quite expensive and not worth the price, NO HOTSHOWER! CR IS CLOGGING! TV IS BLURRED! NO SHAMPOO! NO TOOTHPASTE AND DISPOSABLE TOOTHBRUSH! NO FREE BOTTLED WATER! So we ordered, but the frontdesk just kept on ringing, very slow to answer the call, what if emergency?! And worst the bottled water delivered to our room minutes before we check out! How many times we follow up over the phone! What kind of customer service is this?! Everything WORST and NOT WORTH THE MONEY YOU WILL PAY! NEGATIVE! NOT REALLY A FREE PARKING! We pay 50 pesos parking fee! Not recommended at all!!! Don't dare to check in, it's not worth your money! Sogo hotel management, please do something about this! What we have experienced...
Read moreMy stay at Sogo Kalentong with my partner had its ups and downs. Firstly, the elevator going to the lobby was a hassle as it took quite some time to close due to a faulty sensor, causing delays of over 2 minutes.
In terms of the rooms, the initial one we were given had an air conditioning unit that failed to cool the room adequately. Despite being moved to another room upon request, the aircon still didn't provide the desired coolness, leaving us sweating inside. The airconditiong unit where we moves make a loud sound of vibration. The restroom also had its issues, with faulty faucets and shower controls that disrupted water pressure and temperature adjustments.
On a positive note, the receptionists and bell boys were remarkably attentive and helpful throughout our stay. However, their assistance was limited as they weren't responsible for hotel maintenance.
Overall, I hope Sogo Kalentong becomes more proactive in addressing maintenance issues, as my experiences with discomfort due to malfunctioning amenities were consistent across...
