⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.8/5 – A Nature-Filled Team Building Experience Worth Repeating!
We held our company team building at Shercon Resort and Ecology Park in Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas on June 15, 2025 (Sunday) with over 50 participants. It was a day tour event, and as a first-timer at Shercon, I came in with no expectations—but I left genuinely impressed.
✅ Booking & Coordination: The reservation process was seamless. I was part of the organizing team, and Shercon’s staff made everything so easy—clear payment instructions, menu options, timelines, and constant communication. They were organized, responsive, and professional from start to finish. Check-in on the day itself was smooth and stress-free.
🏞️ Venue & Facilities: We stayed at the Infinity Hall, an open space right next to their beautiful infinity pools. We didn’t book any rooms, but the area was clean, safe, and well-ventilated—perfect for a large group. Only downside: the comfort rooms could use more frequent cleaning during peak hours. The floors got muddy quickly, and there were no provided toiletries like soap or tissue. However, the CRs were secure, and the presence of staff doing rounds gave us a sense of safety throughout the day.
🏊 Pools & Activities: While I didn’t swim, the infinity pool looked clean and well-maintained—you could smell the chlorine, which is a good sign! Despite it being a Sunday, it wasn’t overcrowded. Families and groups took turns using the pool peacefully. We also enjoyed several team-building activities like ziplining, rappelling, and obstacle courses. The facilitators were organized and made the games engaging for everyone. Definitely a fun and memorable part of our visit.
🍽️ Food & Dining: One of the highlights! Shercon took care of our buffet-style meals and even let us choose our preferred meat options and snacks. Portions were generous, and guests could go back for seconds—or thirds! Drinks were also well provided: we had two water dispensers, refreshing cucumber-lemon juice, and an ice box to help beat the heat. Dining setup was clean and organized, with enough tables and chairs for our group. Best part? The food was delicious.
🧑💼 Customer Service: The staff were friendly, helpful, and easy to approach. I didn’t see any lifeguards at the pools, but there were maintenance and security staff roaming the area, ready to assist. The presence of staff made us feel safe and well-attended throughout the day.
🌿 Ambiance & Value for Money: If you’re looking to disconnect from city life and reconnect with nature, Shercon is a great spot. Whether it’s for hiking, swimming, or just relaxing with loved ones, this place offers a refreshing break from the usual city grind. It’s very Instagram-worthy, peaceful, and full of greenery. As a budget-conscious person, I’d say it’s not the cheapest—but if you have the extra money and the right company, it’s definitely worth it. For first-timers, I recommend trying the day tour first before committing to an overnight stay.
Final Verdict: Shercon Resort gave us a memorable, nature-filled team building experience. From the smooth coordination to the beautiful location and generous food service, they really delivered. Would I go back? Yes.

Read moreTHIS WAS THE BEST YET WORST FIELD TRIP OF MY LIFE. The experience overall is good but I was very displeased from a certain encounter with the staff in the zipline area. One particular staff was rude to me but I let it slide since I was having fun with friends. Context is when I reached the end tower of the zipline, a staff told me to hurry on getting off the platform that i landed on because there was another person on the zipline behind me but I didnt hear the staff because i was too shaken up (it was my first time on a zipline) so he pushed me off rudely towards the side after clicking off the clasp thing and the other staff that was with him just proceeded on connecting me to the other line to go back to the start tower. And hopefully since malaki yung area na nasasakupan ng shercon, PLEASE add more washrooms. My friends and I were lucky enough to find other washrooms that were empty but are too far away as the others were currently in use by other grades to the point na mahaba na yung pila sa lahat ng nearby washrooms. We needed to hurry kase aalis na yung bus so since cramped yung space sa loob ng cr, nagshare nalang kame and she showered while i changed. hindi nako naligo that time so amoy chlorine ako the whole way home. Each washroom contains 3 small separate rooms for men and women so 6 lang yung available in each area. A few of my friends including me made a mistake of not bringing any slippers so i had to endure the pain of walking barefoot the whole time and not to mention, palipat lipat kame ng swimming pool every 1 minute kase may mga real paid visitors and other grades na yung turn naman nila in a particular pool. thats by far the worst part of my experience. We had to LITERALLY BEG for strangers including other staff in the area if they had spare slippers. So i just wished especially that time na sana in the future, you hire more staff, magtayo ng small markets kahit maliit na stands lang that gives souvenirs or necessities like slippers, and increase the number of public washrooms. Basa pa kami non and barefoot when we were looking for an available washroom so nagsapatos nalang yung kaibigan ko and hinayaan nya ko apakan yung paa nya while we walk hindi ko sinuot yung sapatos ko kase ayoko mabasa and grabe yung hingal namen lalo na pag paakyat ng hill HAYST. But we just laugh when we look back at those terrible but...
