GLC Suites in Bislig — Hotel in Mindanao

Nice clean looking building located in a town that is virtually residential. The only shops I saw when I walked around were the prominent small family run outlets.||My double bedroom was compact but beside the comfortable bedding it had a wardrobe with hangers and a desk and chair. The aircon was quiet and the cable TV worked well. The aircon was located above the bedhead so I had to turn it off when I retired.||The bathroom was also compact but the shower was separate to the toilet. Good hot water and pressure.||I had room 1 which was right next to reception and both mornings I was awoken by loud talking. So I would suggest avoiding this room.||Each night for dinner I took a trike back out the highway where there are a number of BBQ restaurants by the roadside.||Overall, I was more than happy with my stay. ||The lady Manager was helpful in securing a trike for the standard cost to take me out to Tinuy-an...

The staff were very nice and accommodating, and the people around the city were friendly as well. They have big breakfast serving. If you want to buy fresh fruits, vegetables, and seafood, the hotel is very close to the market and sari-sari stores. If you want to have your fish or meat grilled, you can ask the meat vendor at the market to do it for you but with a fee, of course. Balut vendor is just right across the street. If you want more seafood choices and kakanin, you can drive to Mangagoy public market. I recommend you to go there by 5:00AM for more fresh seafood. Tinuy-an Falls is a 30-minute drive only from the hotel. The rooms are big, clean, and relaxing. They have clean bathrooms with bidet, and hot and cold shower. I love going to Bislig.
