My bus dropped me off at the crossroad where I then took a trike for a couple of kilometers. The resort (as are others) are technically located on an island so they hit you up for a 25 peso entry fee plus 25 peso environment fee. Nice little money earner.||My three month old Agoda booking was honoured. I stayed in a Delux room. All the rooms are stilted buildings surrounded by mangroves.||This was yet another place I stayed on Mindanao with no wardrobe or shelving to place clothes. Apart from the double bed it also had a couch/single bed which I used for my clothes etc. The room also had a small table and chair with adjacent power points for recharging. The table though was constantly plaguered by ants.||The aircon was quiet and efficient. The bathroom was a compact wet room. The mirror either needed a good clean or replaced. The water pressure was poor and I had no hot water on my first night. I had the water heater looked at the next day which resulted in hot water and good water pressure. No soap provided only toilet paper but I always carry soap. For the unhygienic travelers bring your own toothbrush.||The restaurant has been relocated out next to the saltwater pool (which needed leaves cleaned out) over the water. About a 100 metre walk from the rooms. The lunch/dinner menu is limited to about eight Philippine meals. Breakfast had 2-3 Philippine choices which didn't suit me.||I had no problems with my phone data.||There are other accom. options in the area but I was happy with my choice. ||The resort have their own boats for the four island tours. 1500 pesos per boat whether there is only one of you (like me) or a...
Read moreWe are able to stay in this place as it is nearby the boat terminal for island hopping. ||We have stayed on their loft rooms which is quite amazing. The loaf rooms were located at the mangroove tree forest which gives a good privacy for their guest. The loaf room can accomodate at least 3 to 4 persons (3 upstairs and 1 downstairs) which is not bad for its size. The room has a little space as a living room but it does not have chairs or a couch. AC were good. Bed sheets were good as well the pillows. |However, there are things that bothers us like on some of the rooms has bugs/insects on it. Luckily, the bugs were on the other rooms. Also, the glass of the bathroom window is broken and we are afraid of the safety of our things. In our case, we manage to put a block on the bathroom door so that no one can open it if someone might try to open it. Another thing is the security of the guest as my friend see someone over the broken glass window which rises our worries about it. The security personnel of the resort assure us of the safety as the are roaming around.||In total, the place is great as it has unique features that for me is the first time to see. Friendly staff and good for as well. I hope they could improve more on their rooms especially the broken bathroom window and security issues. I hope also that they were able to address...
Read moreThe room rate is kinda pricey for its quality so do not expect too much. We stayed in a loft type room (Php 1200.00) which is surrounded by mangroves. The bathroom is tolerable, such that the flush is not available in the evening. Cellular signal for Smart is very low to none; for Globe it is tolerable but data signal is intermittent. They offer WIFI but it happened to be useless. The have a restaurant but the food is pricey.||||Overall, our stay quality was average. I would like to recommend O's Landing (rooms are a bit pricey yet it comes with breakfast, and their food is good and cheap, also the place is modern and nice) and Villa Rosalina (we checked out in La Entrada as early as 6AM, and Villa Rosalina was our entry/exit point to island hopping tour. We paid additional Php 20.00/pax though). As much as possible for budget travellers like me, we look forward for a good place to stay to sleep,...
