We got four rooms via their official website @18k per room 🥹 3days prior to our check in they’re running ads on FB for 12k per room🤣 You’ll need to pay 50% DP via bank transfer to confirm booking Cliffside Casita A. A 3500 room deposit will be required upon check in
My older siblings regretted to booked for the beach front Casita, they upgraded later to the Cliffside..
Cliffside: No beach front, just overlooking Dakak beach. Great scenic sunset view!!! With access to infinity pool. You’ll have to contact lobby to get you to Dakak beach to enjoy the sea. We did not do it because prior to our check in we stayed in Dakak and enjoyed the beach and pools…
Overall we had a great experience anyway. 😅 The rooms were quite big, spacious and elegantly designed. Our room had a king sized bed, spacious enough for 2 adult 1 kid. Extra bed is per request. A long spacious couch is also available beside the bed so if you have extra person you’ll only need blanket.
T&B is one of a kind for me, only in Villa Angelina. VERY SPACIOUS! (Note: The exhaust should have been placed just above the bowl to suck all unnecessary😂 smell)
A small fridge is tuck inside a cabinet with a few sodas and beer and snacks.
Feat like no other! You’ll mesmerized by the sheer beauty when you open the remote-controlled curtain… breathtaking view is sure to surprise you… Room 1008C perfect view overlooking Dakak beach front. Easily accessible from the lobby, Yugo Restaurant. The room had a balcony where the jacuzzi is well set up looking over the sea.. good place to spend during sunset..
One thing to note, the Jacuzzi drainage goes down directly to the sea. I just hope the soap ingredient’s 100% natural.✌🏻
Paid extra 1 person 1250 for my 9yo son but it should have been free with our room reservation. So you have to clarify this one prior to booking.
Front desk personnel who entertained us were practitioner.. they are accommodating. Although, it took quite awhile to check in and only one person can enter the premises prior to check in.. later I understand why, the lobby is very small for a luxury resort. A map was provided for us to locate all amenities and places inside the resort after we checked in
Our family members were left outside the gate far too long because no one came in to help our family from the gate to join us. The entrance is quite a long walk especially the check in time is at 2pm under the heat of the burning sun. Crazzy!
The Yugo: Surprisingly, there isn’t much exciting on the menu. Pretty much standard breakfast meal. Ample array of select bread and pastries(very sweet for me) Filipino food and fruits, a few Japanese sushi, a few Chinese soups, 3 options for juice drinks, coffee and chocolate drink.
Infinity pool is heat controlled, so our kids loved it!
2500 for usage of golf cart. I would suggest you get one if you intend to go to Dakak beach, waiting time can sometimes be annoying.
Service: Good. Went to the city to enjoy Fantasyland however time did not permit us. I suggest you buy Fantasyland ticket inside the resort, they offer 20% discount. When we came around 9:45pm we decided to walk from the entrance to our rooms 😂 the guard tried his best to get us a ride to no avail. I guess they were already out for the night😁
Considering the price and services, were planning to go back here but we will stay in Dakak… 🤪
Checkout is fast and convenient. You will be taken by a van to the entrance. They will not issue official receipt! I got an acknowledgment receipt...
Read moreWe stayed overnight before our flight back to Manila. Location is far from the town proper and would take you less than an hour to the airport, by motorella so maybe 30 minutes, if by car. If you're not into walking, you'll find it tiring because amenities and other activities is far from the hotel. We booked the Cliffside Casita A, BTW. They have this service though that can bring you to and fro but you need to call the FD and there are wait times too especially if they are fully booked. What we did before staying was bought pasalubong to Rizal Park so we can just enjoy our stay before we fly back to Manila. Rooms are huge for couples and somehow needs a little work up coz there are portions that are broken or damaged and yeah, might have rats because it's in the mountains but from our experience luckily it didn't have one. Noise from other room can be heard. Linens are clean but towels are not so white na. Room weren't really prepared when we came, like missing bedroom slippers, face towels and no coffee sachet was filled in the drawer (we didn't ask for the coffee na lang, was tired of asking well in the first place it should be complete). Also, choose your casita because there are some that has blockage of other units and trees. That's one of the reason we moved form one casita to another. Book in advance, they don't allow walk ins but you can call them for arrangements, this is the hardest part kasi I have to call them multiple times because their site is acting up. Overall, expensive for an overnight stay but for relaxation and peace and the view, it's a so so...
Read moreWe really enjoyed our stay in Villa Angelina. It's the perfect relaxing and private spot we needed after working so hard the past couple of months. The room was very spacious and the aesthetic was definitely for us. We loved the soft king-sized bed and the soft pillows! The front desk staff were also very helpful. Our spa experience was very good and relaxing. We loved the tea service after!||The only thing we weren't so happy about was the restaurant. We had a bad experience in our last dinner at Yugo where we waited for 73 minutes for our food, only to be told that supposedly the order just arrived in their system (we used the app for ordering as instructed). To be honest, we really didn't believe that since it was a huge coincidence that the order suddenly just entered their system the exact moment I approached them to follow up. I also saw the waitstaff run to the computer when they saw me approaching (I probably didn't look too happy which was why he rushed to the computer to check). We wanted to rest early but ended up having dinner late because of that. We also didn't enjoy the meal anymore because we were just very unhappy with how that entire experience went. Imagine waiting 73 minutes for nothing. Anyway, they gave us complimentary cake to apologize but we were just too upset to enjoy what was supposedly a nice meal.||Anyway, it's still a nice stay except for that one bad experience. I do hope they improve on that particular aspect of their service. I also hope they bring back room service. The room is so nice that sometimes you just want to stay...
