Grande Island Resort — Hotel in Morong

I finally had a chance to visit this island a few minutes away from Subic Bay Freeport Zone Central Business area and I really had a great time. I didn't know that there is such a relaxing island resort hidden here in Subic Bay. The sand is not as white and as fine as Boracay's but I honestly think that its 100 times better than that in Zambales and in Bataan. and much lighter in color too. remind you, Don't forget to bring your beach shoes coz some parts of the beach is rocky before getting into the crystal clear waters in the island. I think that this island is for people who wanted to get away from their busy city life and enjoy a secluded island experience with comfortable amenities without sacrificing the modern convenience of a cellphone and data. You can also dip in their pool or take a historical guided tour in the island if you felt like too much sand and sun is boring you. they have excellent food and customer service too. I have been in the place for our 2015 Company summer outing ans I must say the rooms are nice, the place is great as it is really huge! A very nice hide out from the everyday city life. The place is too big, but the mini "golf cars" I am not sure what those are called don't often drive around the resort making one wait for over 30 mins before he gets picked up if he wishes to go to the pool area etc. Since the are is too big and if your room is located at the far end side of the island then it will be impossible to walk all the way to the pool area or the central area of the area under the scorching heat of the sun. So you'd end up really waiting which is a waste of time. The cottages are located in the beach front which is perfect, you'll love the morning view, however please watch out for the baby jellyfish, there are millions and millions super tiny jellyfish to a point that we became scared of swimming. I called the number of the one in charge , she told me its 11k including 3 meals . Our food was so terrible its pre-cook and reheated . ( at home we cook fresh , we dont fry we grill ) So we come here spend more money to eat rubbish food mostly fry and pork. I ask her on our second night if we just take the room without food she told us not possible . |They serve food without giving us a choice. |like saying EAT THIS LIKE A SHEEP.
