We had a great time again! This time we referred our friends to try and visit Juness Beach resort. My family and friends (with their kids) enjoyed 2 nights stay in the resort. The staff are very friendly and accommodating... Special thanks to ate Pinky, as usual, super bait, maasikaso sa mga clients/customers. I just hope next time Yung nasa front desk šÆ% effort din for the customers' sake & convenience. He never mentioned that some parts of the resort were under construction despite of 2-3 times communication with him. We needed to get out of the high way again and find a detour... Nakiraan kami sa ibang mga resorts and the road was really horrible para sa isang kotse Lang. Good thing that our friends were using a 4x4 pick up truck, unlike us, we're driving a sedan only.
Not only that... I don't know if bad mood Lang sya, stupid, or simply tamad Lang... I had my first inquiry thru SMS text since Yun Ang auto reply sa fb messenger that u needed to text or call for any reservation or inquiry. Whoever that person was... Simply replied to me as FULLY BOOK NA PO KAMI. So I asked what dates are still open for 3 rooms that we need... And I got a reply - any day except sa preferred dates namin. Sobrang pasaway Kang empleyado, Kung Sino ka man. You don't deserve to be paid!! Thank goodness, after almost a week, a very nice lady Ms. Pimpernel, reached out and replied to my fb messenger Inquiry. She processed our reservation right away. Pagdating namin sa resort, it looks like kami Lang Ang tao sa resort. Sa laki Ng Juness and sa dami Ng rooms nila, kami Lang Po Ang customers nila for 3 days,2 nights. So I don't understand as to why I'd be told na Fully booked na sila??! Pero thank you Ms. Pimpernel of Makati office... I just hope malaman nyo Kung Sino Ang mga pasaway na empleyado nyo, specifically sa front desk (on site). The resort is very relaxing, aircon working very well, super lamig agad, rooms are clean, sheets are very clean, towels are clean, the bed and sofa bed are very good. Even my friends told me that the bed is not cheap, nakatulog sila Ng sobrang komportable with 2 kids pa. We all loved the rattan sofa beds. The water is always naturally warm kahit madaling araw. The beach is always good, soft sand, clear waters, not pebbly, not rocky, no sea grass, no jellyfish. But we always see fingerlings swimming right next to us....š Thanks Juness Beach Resort! We had a wonderful stay (for the second...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreItās a 7/10 for me. Hereās the breakdown of our experiences:
LOCATION: If you are from Manila, traveling would take approx 4.5 hrs. No restos outside the area, so better have lunch sa express way. would take around 1.5-2 hrs travel from the express way.
FACILITIES: Not well maintained. Some part of the resort looks old. The only good part is the reception/restaurant part, which is a very good place to lounge. They have tables/chairs and the bean bags are my fave part!
ROOM: We got 1 garden view #10 (good for 5-6pax) and 1 pool villa (good for 3pax). Our family stayed here, room was decent, but no towel rack, no toilet paper holder, no toiletries. Towels and toilet paper included. Water pressure here was so weak that we need to ask for timba and tabo. Sa Pool Villa where my aunt and uncle stayed, these are the new rooms. Water pressure was strong. BETTER GET TWO POOL VILLA (?) IF YOU ARE PARTY OF 6.
FOOD: The cook was good! Whoever he/she is, ang sarap ng Pinakbet (P450) Pork Binagoongan (P450) and Pancit (P450). Serving though was small sa mga entrees for its price . Itās just good for 2pax. The only good serving was the pancit. We ate there for Lunch, Dinner, Breakfast & lastly Lunch before we left the resort. BETTER BRING YOUR OWN FOOD.
SERVICE: When I asked for timba and tabo since the Garden View has weak water pressure, the Ate who was wearing glasses (I think sya yung manager in charge?) immediately said they donāt have one. But when my sister complained that they have to provide since shower water was weak, bigla may timba at tabo pala sila. Haha. Kuya who was serving us the food was patient and good to us, so he deserved the tip.
Overall, what I love was the beach part, fine but black sand. Resort was peaceful and quiet if you need to relax. It was literally beach front and they have a huge shore line where kidās can run and play in the sand. Pero wala nagme-maintain so youāll see trash around the shore line. The sunset was beautiful. I also love their lounge/restaurant part where the bean bags are. Will I come back? Probably yes, but I will definitely try another resort in the area. Or better Bolinao, Pangasinan if ganito kalayo....
Ā Ā Ā Read more2.5 hours drive from Manila . A very nice place for couples, barkada, and family. They have different room types that can accommodate your group. We got the oceanview room which is good for 2-3 pax and the Villa A which is good for 8 pax. They allow guests to use their mini Cabanas in front of the beach to relax and have a perfect view of the beach. The pool is well maintained and the area of the whole resort is always kept clean. The food in their restaurant is great at a very reasonable price. We loved the pork sisig pakbet pansit canton pansit bihon calamares crispy pata ||sizzling bulalo and chicken Inasal. Then Mango shake is a must try .Breakfastt is not included when you book a room but they offer set breakfast in their restaurants. But you can also bring your own food without a corkage. All the staffs are nice, we arrived early and check in time is 2 pm but they allowed an early checkin for us free of charge. Kuddos and thank you. The beds are comfortable rooms are clean but the aircons are a bit noisy. Also I suggest you bring Insect repellant lotion because there's a lot of mosquitos at night and sometimes they get to enter the rooms thru the windows of the CR, i suggest they put some screen on the bathroom windows. But overall everything is perfect. Thank you 8 Rhoyals Travel for booking us at Juness...
