Amesola Spring Valley Resort & hotel — Hotel in Naga

We opted to stay here on our trip to CWC since some of the recent reviews in CWC is not too good, we should not have done so. For one, the only thing that I can safely call clean is their pool. At the lobby, it already reeked of the smell of molds. Once we opened the rooms, we were not alone, there was a spider as big as my hand in room A and the mommy spider's kids are in room B. Room C had some black ants crawling around. We did not want to stay but it was geting dark so we just kidded ourselves thinking this is part of the Bicol adventure we signed up for. And it's not just an issue with the insects. There was no hot water, the toilet seat was cracked and when my brother sat on it, it broke into half. Aircon wire is scarier than the big spider as you can see that it was just cords taped together so it would be longer and reach the power supply. We needed to check out at around 5am since we needed to catch a boat ride so before we slept, we advised the owner that we will leave very early and maybe pay before we sleep or just have an attendant ready by the time we leave. We ended up going to the main house (since it's a compound) of the owner and waking them up just so we can pay. Will definitely...

They sent me an outdated list of room rates when I reserved the room. The 24-hr rate for the room I reserved was 2,200 and became 2,700 when my kids and I arrived there. I opted for a 12-hr stay instead because I haven't seen the room but would've stayed longer if the room was worth it.

It wasn't worth it. The room was old and dirty with mosquitoes and the bathroom wasn't clean as well. I hated the smell of pillows as well. We had an overnight swimming and I didn't sleep at all because though they sprayed the room with something to make it seem like the room is fresh and clean, it wasn't enough to conceal the smell of the pillows. The room, the pool, and practically the entire place was dirty. I was already told not to go there because it's not a good place to stay but I had no choice but to push through because I had no time to look for other resorts. I also wanted to check it myself and at least now I know that it isn't worth spending money on. They shouldn't call it hotel & resorts because it is nothing like a hotel at all.
