A bed and breakfast sanctuary in Nagcarlan. Some quick pointers: Ideal for travellers with a car. But you may use public transport and then use a tricycle for a short drop-off to their place. Ideal for those who love Mother Nature, tranquility and rest. No TV's in the room, and cell signal/data is best in the morning. This is not for digital nomads. You can also do training and events here for small groups, as they have activity halls here. Breakfast is included, but you may ask the owners to bring your own food. The food here is made-to-order and draws from garden-grown produce. If you're lucky, some fruit may naturally fall during your stay (like langka or jackfruit) and the owners offer them to you for free. For those with fur babies, the property has dogs on-site. You're allowed pets - but it's really not meant for those travellers with pets. Two swimming pools here - I understand families with children enjoy using the facilities. But this is not a place for groups with hard drinking and 24/7 internet in their requirements. Maya's Nest is ideal when we used it during Holy Week to visit the nearby towns of Laguna with their historic churches. It's also a place for those who want peace and quiet, and to commune with nature.

Very cozy place, family oriented and ideal for religious or small groups doing seminar workshops, retreats, planning or team building. There's a well ventilated place for seminars complete with whiteboards and a projector screen. The plants and flowers are relaxing and conducive to meditation and even writing. The BEST experience we had was on the healthy meals served by the owners. The rooms are beautiful including the washrooms. While there's cellphone signal, internet is slow & wifi not available at the time if the visit. Parking is adequate but I would suggest checking ahead if a group is coming with several vehicles or large vehicles.

I like the garden and food. The staff are really friendly and give off good and positive vibes. The environment, the air is really refreshing. The view you see at the swimming pools are beautiful. Almost everywhere you go is a photoshoot opportunity. Edit: they are currently under renovation and have not yet experienced the new amenities.

I almost dont want to write this. I want this place to remain secret and silent, tucked away from the crowds. Mayas nest is special to me. The owners are weathered with deep passion and great intelligence. That already makes up for a big part of the experience. The gardens and landscape do the rest. The collection and placing of plants is mind blowing. The beauty of birds and retiles moving around while you appreciating the colors is priceless. Oh, and yes there is a pool too and great food to savor at the tips of the owner's culinary skills. Feel at home and find your groove. It could all happen...
