We booked 3 nights for my daughter's birthday. From our house, we headed to their onsite swab testing area and got our results in 20 minutes. We just waited inside our car before we proceed to check-in.

We booked the standard casita and requested to be moved to the Sea view casita as it had a better ambiance. It had to do with the extra space of the standard casita that was assigned to us and the lack of better lighting- so if you are particular about these things, please book the Seaview casita. It felt a lot cozier and more welcoming.

The food and service were great. Dishes are good for 2-3 pax so if you are a couple and don’t eat a lot, you might find yourself having leftovers. We don’t like to waste food so we requested for them to keep our unfinished dishes and they happily served it the next meal. Some of the dishes we tried were Maryland chicken, Kare-are, ribeye steak, chicken adobo, pizzas, and gnocchi from Il Jardineto. I also enjoyed their margarita and pina colada as I am sure I must have ordered over 12 glasses in total for the duration of our stay. :) They also offered to get me a live lobster from the local fishermen and they cooked it for me. It was nice. The beautiful outdoor dinner setup was such a delight. Thanks to Alex from F&B who arranged it for us. Ruel from the dining was also very accommodating. Mark and Edzel ( I hope I got that right) from the reception were also very helpful.

We really loved our stay. We got to join the turtle imprinting and releasing on our first day. It was such a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our packed breakfast/lunch by the beach, our time at the lower beach pool, and the sunsets at the main club. For a 2.5 drive from Manila, it is such a luxury to enjoy a good beach. It was definitely a bonus that aside from the crowd on our first day during the turtle imprint/releasing, we had the entire beach all to ourselves for the duration of our stay.

Thank you, Club Punta Fuego! We will...

If you are looking for a place where you can experience a restful getaway, far from the hustle and bustle of the cities, then this is a perfect spot for you. We were welcomed by a spectacular view by the lobby with a very accommodating receptionist. We booked one of the rooms with a sea view. Room facilities may be not as complete as anyone probably has experienced in most five star hotels (no ironing board and iron) but it is compensated by the serenity of the entire place.

The beach at Terrazas de Punta Fuego is the highlight of our stay. It is private enough for you to spend some quality time with your loved ones. Impeccable service.

We were able to experience excellent service from the San Diego Restaurant where the staff would voluntarily assist you when you needed help (we brought our baby with us and the staff were quick to help even before we asked for one). There's this staff named Paulene at the restaurant who was the most helpful of all. She assisted me and my wife even if we didn't ask for it. Our daughter loved her as well. Thanks to her : )

There's definitely a big room for improvement when it comes to room service. It took them a while to respond to our requests when we asked for help with regards to room facilities. It took them almost two hours to give us a fresh set of towels when we requested for one. On our third day we asked for an iron and ironing board but we needed to follow up four times (30 minutes to one hour intervals) before they sent us one. Not a biggie, but for an exclusive resort like them, this is quite a bummer.

In general, it was a memorable stay for our family. And we'll definitely come back... more likely at...

Stayed here in Club Punta Fuego sometime in October. Beautiful property/subdivision! ‘ wish I can afford to own a house here :)

I was hoping we could have booked a casita but they didn’t have any available so we stayed in one of the rooms in the main hotel.

▪️There’s parking available. ▪️It’s a nice walk to the room: sweeping view of the pool area and the ocean though it can be challenging for older/with mobility issue people. ▪️Good customer service, from security, check in, concierge and especially the dining staff. ▪️Room is standard, a bit outdated, ‘rough around the edges’ but it’s very clean. Small detail but they can definitely use a mat/rug from the entry so you don’t track dirt in the room. ▪️Beddings are ok. ▪️Bathroom is clean, good shower water pressure. ▪️Restaurant has a very nice view. It’s not the hotel’s fault but there are times that mosquitoes can be bad if you dine al fresco. Though being close to the big fans help. ▪️Food is ok. ▪️Infinity pools are very good. The pools and the pool area are well maintained. Only thing I noticed: when you’re lounging by the pool, depends on the direction of the wind and your exact location, you’ll get a little whiff of sewage. ▪️You have access to the beach club and they have a shuttle to get there but we drove. That area, in my opinion, needs some improvement and maintenance.

They have a ‘putt putt’ area which I don’t even think is usable.

We didn’t even bother to have a meal in...

The place itself is beautiful—great renovation, stunning views, and peaceful surroundings. You can tell a lot of effort went into making it visually appealing. But sadly, the service was a huge letdown. You’re stopped at the entrance and told you must book a room to enter—10,000 pesos for six people. We agreed, handed over our documents, and went to grab a bite while check-in was underway. Then a heavy rainstorm started, and it no longer made sense to stay since we couldn’t use any of the facilities. When we informed the staff that we decided not to proceed with the stay, we were suddenly told we had to pay an “entrance fee.” This was never mentioned earlier. Worse, we later found out there’s actually a 1,200-peso-per-person option to access the facilities without booking a room—but no one told us about it. In the end, we were charged 500 pesos per person just for entering the property—on top of that, we had already paid the full price for our lunch at their restaurant. Very disappointing service and communication. It felt unfair and disrespectful. A beautiful place, but with management like this—it’s not worth the hassle.

Not exactly an alternative to Balesin, but i think is good for a quick getaway. No need to ride a plane just drive over there. Room was big, but kind of dated. two double beds and a day bed fit my fam just right. Bed comfort is a 3 out of 5. basics are there complimentary tea, coffee, water and toiletries. Snack bar. TV recepiton was okay. Bathroom sink was clogged at first but they fixed it asap. Water heater was too hot even though lever was in the middle. Food There's 2 restos and 2 bars within the oroper. Pirces are on the a lil bit more expensive side, ala Friday's. Taste was okay. Dinner Buffet choisces were fee. Breakfast buffet was okay. Coffee was good. Pizza 4 out of 5. Front desk efficient. check-in was fast we came 1pm our room was ready. staff oriented and answered our questions promotly and politely Safety Hotel in an exclusive Village was exceptional. Crowd no crowd at all. it's far from the busy areas of Nasubgu and we loved how peaceful it is there.
