Absolutely the worst customer service ever. ||||A friend suggested we try this resort because it had a beautiful view. We called to ask if there were any a/c room available for that same day and were told they still had deluxe a/c rooms available. We were touring iloilo and will be arriving at guimaras in the afternoon and said that we wanted to reserve an a/c room. We arrived there at 6pm, and were told there were no more a/c rooms available except for the presidential suite. We explained that the girl we talked to -- Lorraine -- told us there were rooms available and we reserved for an a/c room. She then said she ONLY told us she WOULD CHECK if there were a/c rooms available. But that now, there were only fan rooms available. When we asked how come nobody contacted us to inform us there were no more rooms, they had all these excuses -- they were busy, the signal was not clear, etc. etc.||||This balding gay guy in information started explaining that Lorraine was not the person in charge of reservations, and she didn't really know what the real situation was in the resort. We said that was not our problem because we were told there was a room. And we drove all the way to this resort only to be told there were no more deluxe a/c rooms available. And that our only choice was to get the presidential suite, for almost double the price! ||||This gay guy started being rude to us now, and comes up with another excuse, saying we did not sign any kind of contract, nor made any down payment to secure a room.||||I talked to this gay guy and explained that we were supposed to stay at another resort, but a friend suggested this resort, and we were told by Lorraine that there were a/c rooms available. Now, since we were there already, and it's already 6pm, no one else is going to walk in to take the presidential suite. Can he just give us the presidential suite for the same price as the deluxe a/c rooms. He said he can't because then he will have to shoulder the price difference if he lets us stay in the pres suite for the price of the deluxe room. ||||I couldn't believe what I was hearing.||||First, I think he should've offered the room to us, whether for free or at a lower price, instead of me asking to negotiate with him for that. Not only that, in the middle of the discussion, this Lorraine now changes her story, and quite a few times, saying at one point that SHE SAID they had only fan rooms available. And then later on, changes her story again and says WE SAID we wanted a fan room.||||The last straw was, the gay guy just left the reception area, and left everything hanging and unresolved. ||||My goodness. Apparently these people do not know the meaning of service... or were not trained how to provide service. ||||I will definitely NOT RECOMMEND this resort. It deserves an even lower rating...
Read moreThere were 8 of us in the group and we booked 2 rooms for an overnight stay. It's been more than 4 months I still can't forget the worst experience I ever had in a hotel.||1. I called the day before and asked if we can have an early check-in. The receptionist said it's okay because they don't have a lot of guests. She was right, when we checked in we were the only ones booked at the airconditioned rooms. That night, someone called our room and said we have to check out at exactly 7am since we checked in at 9am and they only allow max. stay of 22 hrs. I argued over the phone and then a total of 3 staff including the owner went up to our room to explain that we can extend for an extra charge of course. The point is we were never told about it to begin with. We could have roamed around the island first before checking in. We were forced to wake up early, skip our breakfast and hurriedly check out of the hotel before 7am.||2. Not good value for money - we paid for 2 extra person per room. Since there are only 2 pillows and 2 towels per room we requested for extra items to suit our group. Guess what, we have to pay more even though we already paid extra for excess guests. The food was expensive, does not taste good and serving size is very small. In short, we starved for one day. The videoke cannot be even offered as complimentary. Every move you make, you have to pay. We even almost got cheated by the boatman when he tried to collect entrance fee to the beach even it is supposed to be free.||3. Worst island hopping in the Philippines - I asked for a boat for 8 people, they said 1,500 for the first 2 hrs. We were given a very small boat for just 5 people. We rented snorkeling gears only to find out that the coral area is too far. The boat was extremely slow. We argued with the boatman that we will not pay for the snorkeling gears because we did not even use it. Well we won after 30mins of arguing.||Beware of this hotel or your dream vacation to the island of Guimaras will turn into a nightmare. I am not exaggerating but this is all true. Read moreThe resort is located quite far from Jordan port, around 1H00 by tricycle. The main advantage of this resort is the beautiful view you can see from your room. The building is located on a cliff, on the side there are stairs so that you can access to a beautiful beach with rocs and white sand.|| I booked a deluxe room and the room don't worth the price you pay for. First i got a room with a tv with only one channel so i've asked to change and they gave me the room featured with cable (i think there's only 1 or 2 like this). Room is basic, matress not really good, instead of one double bed it was 2 single bed. There's a small fridge. Aircon is ok. Sometimes wifi don't work but you can switch off/on an interrupter outside and then it works again. Bathroom is basic, hot water and pressure ok. There's a cabinet in the bathroom. There's a big restaurant, food is just ok, anyway there's no other places around to eat... ||Staff is helpfull but they should give more advices to their customers about the transportation and the things to do around. You can visit an ancient spanish lighthouse by ten min walking.||Tricycle there are a bit scammers, be careful with the one who's name is Colleen. Ask at the front desk, they can provide you a van for 500 pesos going to Jordan wharf instead of 800 pesos with...
