Maruyog's Ridge — Hotel in Palawan

I had a great dining experience at Maruyog Ridge Restaurant in terms of food quality. Their dishes are exceptional in both taste and quantity, making it a go-to spot for family dinners and even outings with friends.

However, one aspect that needs improvement is their serving time. While I appreciate that they take their time to ensure exceptional food, there have been instances where even simple requests took an unusually long time to fulfill. On one visit, we waited over an hour for our food order, and requesting two additional bottles of soda became a 15-minute ordeal, only resolved after my mom expressed her frustration.

They charge very decent rates for the amenities they put out. Having been used to hotels in the city, I was very pleased with the quality of their accommodations. The hotel's structure and surroundings were very beautiful and well-thought out.

Expect clean rooms that are tastefully furnished, working showerheads, good water pressure, and cool air conditioning,

The hotel also has a café and resto which has a wide selection and more importantly, brewed coffee.

One thing it lacks is decent Wi-Fi, although the receptionist was upfront about it being slow. They're only powered by Smart Bro, which is essentially a router connected to the mobile data network via SIM card.
