It was from June 19 to 20 that we stayed overnight Poracay Resort. The location is quite difficult to find for first timers but gladly we have waze nowadays. It was as if there are no guests at all since it is a weekday. Although the resort seemed to have the power to let vacationers come and check in, there is still something lacking. Maybe, again, it was a weekday when we came but it was a bit off or there really is something I cannot put into words somehow. Yes, the entrance was a bit overwhelming with the flags and cueing lines for multiple guests maybe during summer or vacation season, but it seems quite dead. It took some time for the personnel in front to recognize that we are part of a delegation that may have come in earlier than us and even asked us again to wait for a couple more minute before that could let us in. There were no signs where we could drive towards a parking lot if we were checking in. After probably 5 to 10 minutes our driver was asked to go straight a path that's supposed to lead us towards our other colleagues. That was it. We were cramped into one unit (house-like structure) with 3 bedrooms and a bath for each bedroom, a kitchen and a spacious sala/receiving area. There are also grilling areas behind each and every unit. In front is a pathway covered with lined umbrellas. This is so far one of the few good things to be observed in the resort. Another is it seems they are trying to plant fruit-bearing trees. The downside for one sour plum, duhat, lomboy in ilocano tree was it was also infested with flies. And not just flies, the type of flies which are quite big or bangaw in Filipino. Disgusting but seeing the effort in planting fruit bearing trees again covered that up. Walking past more units and down a path towards the pool areas, we noticed that one of the major water attractions has actually no water in it and has a sign bearing it is undergoing maitenance. Sad but again, we went on to explore more. There were a couple of cottages around the resort, maybe for multiple groups for swimming, a large gazebo probably for functions and a lagoon. The lagoon gives a different vibe due to the life it has. There were a couple of tortoises, small to medium sized fishes and other floating debris or garbage actually. Again, disappointing but seeing the positive side, upon reaching the lagoon, on its opposite sides are the pools with water, finally! Uphill, we reached where we started and went through a giant arc shaped into a heart. The units has also a refrigerator, television with a Cignal cable, the bedrooms has airconditioning including the sala. As for the kitchen, behind the refridgerator's location is a wall mounted electric fan. The bathrooms has a shower head, faucet and a sink plus mirror. Parking areas are spacious. No potable water available, it seems that you should bring your own. And no convenience stores inside or near the resort. You have to go out of the location and probably find the nearest town to...

This place is really run down... Absolutely down. Don't go there unless you are a Filipino family that likes to sit in a dirty filthy bamboo shack ( 800 peso per day) and drink a lot of alcohol plus BBQ ( you can rent a BBQ there...) Lagoon looks nice.but is disgusting as the sewage runs directly inside from the (closed for maintenance) comfort rooms right beside the (closed for maintenance) pools... Unbelievable... Plus some guys renter a little "Villa" with a karaoke machine, which is so load that you cannot talk in 100 meters distance. The last km of the "road" to the place are dusty and dirty without tar or concrete... You drive through a Desaster area...then park, pay 190 peso per person and walk 10 minutes to the nasty cabanas.... Complete failure. One thing positive.. We left after 30 minutes and got all our money back... Which I didn't expect at all... Maybe they are aware of the status of their resort... No food available there except overpriced snacks... Need to bring all you want to consume. I really didn't understand the...

Let me summarized:||1. Location: it is just like you are going to mountainous area of Benguet. not cemented road. Bring 4x4 truck if you want to visit this resort. Dont bring sedan car or else.... This resort is surrounded by quarry (sand).||2. Staff: when you are already paid in the gate. They will tell to you, go inside now and someone will assist you. It is just like a "Finding Nemo adventure". Go search for your own Villa..||3. Villa: broken screen window. It is just like package deal. You will rent the Villa and we will give you a free flies for you to enjoy.. Devastating experience. toilet in the Villa is just like you are staying in the mountain. Use plastic container when you wash your..... Some toilet dont have plastic container.||4. Nipa Hut. I dont know how to explain. Look for the new Nipa Hut thats it.||5. Comfort Room. They build more villas and where are the CRs?||6. No internet. ||||I love Poracay. This resort needs a lot of...

We went here to celebrate our Aunt's birthday. This place has changed a lot since we came here before. This place is also known to have a fishing pond in which you can fish some tilapias and cook it for yourself. Some of the deep pools were closed Slides are okay but it is more for the kids only slides Zipline that day was closed as well Overall staffs were friendly Guards are helpful Videoke is working fine The place itself brought lots of fond memories They have a store there They are very strict to their check in and check out time They have lifeguard over there Dont expect any signals we tried, there were none lmao So the vacation and place itself it is more of a peaceful , bond time with your friends , relatives and family.

Poracay resort is an overpriced swimming experience, despite the name poracay there isn't a beach to be seen only a couple of swimming pools, their huts and other accomodations except the small air-conditioned houses they call villas have no security whatsoever and for the price your paying it's not worth it. The swimming pools are bad for the eyes because of the overwhelming amount of chlorine in them. You can't open you eyes underwater without hurting yourself so games that require you to dive and fetch something or fetching something in general inside the pool is almost impossible. All is all it's a good and bad experience so it's up to you in the end
