I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years. Im sad to say that it keeps getting a little worse each time, but this last time i stay was probably my final time. First of all the best part about this hotel is the swimming pool. Unfortunately they are not keeping the pool up. The sides of the pool are peeling away and attracting mold, the pool was so dirty i would not go in for a swim. I asked them to clean it and they said it was clean. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time, mold doesn't happen over night. The next thing was the aircon is not strong enough for the larger rooms, (my mistake) It was only a few more dollars for the bigger room so i thought i would go for it, should have stayed with the standard room for better view and better aircon. The aircon is same size for all rooms, so bigger the room the more difficult it is to keep cool. The Hotel is just falling apart at all aspects. . Also if you do not have a motor bike you are pretty much stuck, unless you want to pay for the hotel to tour you around, a bit expensive. They have wifi but it didn't work even once. Ok now for some positive points. ||The view from this Hotel is amazing, sunsets are just awesome. If they clean the pool and do some repair the pool is also great. the food is a bit expensive because you are so far from everything but it was all very delicious. The staff is very good and very nice, the hotel falling apart is not at all their fault. So if you like to have some peace and quiet then this hotel is a Little Gem. Every time i have stayed their was only 1 other couple there, most the time it was empty and we had it...
Read moreI spent a night here last summer and I had the best time. This quaint, cosy little hotel was situated a little further than most people are used to, but that was one of the best things about it because you feel disconnected from the constant rush of the city. Because of this, my cousin and I were pretty much undisturbed everywhere, especially while we were tanning by the pool - which had the perfect view of the sea beyond. You are surrounded by nature everywhere, from mountains to the ocean. It's very relaxing. Needless to say, I automatically loved it. The hotel also has a very homey feel to it. The beds were clean, the towels fresh. There were DVD stacks which we could watch. It's not a five-star hotel so don't expect a flat screen TV or what. The shower was pretty basic. They provided us with the usual hotel toiletries. ||As for the staff, they were attentive as well. I had the best danggit, garlic rice and orange juice for breakfast. And I thought I already had the best one in Coron, Palawan but apparently, Poro could give them a run for their money. ||We spent very little for one night. Just about Php 1700. You don't get this kind of service, and spectacular views of the sea and the peaceful feeling of being undisturbed for this amount in the city. ||If you want to stay somewhere homey, away from the hustle and bustle of the city where you can just relax and breathe, this is the perfect place for you. ||I will definitely come back here....
Read moreWe had a family reunion last week and checked in on August 6 and checked out August 11. Rooms smell, water very scant and/or none at all. Some of us paid cash and the rest via Expedia online . Our check out was a disaster . Front desk clerk told some of us that they only accept cash ; no credit cards yet there’s a sign that credit cards are accepted . I paid my bruther’s family via Expedia ; we were charged again for 3 days . He said they never received the money from Expedia . A lot of us were charged double but they managed to confuse us all . This will be the last time I will book our family reunions in this hotel . We’ve been checking in our families here every 2 years for our family reunion for the last 8 years. I am hoping the owner of this hotel conduct an audit and realize that someone is cheating the hotel guests . If they don’t , your hotel...
