Fridays Puerto Galera — Hotel in Puerto Galera

Fridays! Where do I begin? Well firstly I wanted to go there for lunch. There was no signs at Puerto galera town about directing me to Friday's so thats OK with me because I know it's quite a new resort, so I went to their website and there were instructions that their was a free service boat from the port. So I went down there at the port and asked around but nobody could tell me which boat to go on and no schedule. So then I went on their website called their phone number a few times in the morning and a few times in the afternoon but no answer. So I tried one more time just went down the port (muelle) spent around half an hour searching and asking for the Friday's boat then I saw some Friday's staff hopping on to a boat so then I asked and they said this is the boat to go to Friday's.

After arriving at the resort, i was amazed on how this resort is so stunning and so beautiful. No complaints about the environment and resort. The manager was super friendly to us and he gave us a number to call so that we can get picked up from the port in the future :) . Went had lunch at the restaurant at Friday's the staff were extremely friendly, good service and very welcoming. Upon ordering they had a special on their website at the time and they had flyer in their reception. Something like you get 4 dishes (3 options) for the price of 350 pesos, but when I went to order they said that they had no stock even all of the options. I was surprised and a bit upset. So then I ordered something from the menu (burger) and the price is quite reasonable for a high class resort.The food when arrived was delicious and the size of the burger was reasonable.

So I swam in the pool, the pool size was huge and refreshing. Around about the afternoon we heard that there was a band playing (they play at certain days of the week) so I went to their restaurant to have a snack in the restaurant. I ordered some dishes including pizza and chicken wings. Both were priced around about the same as the burger however both dishes had a few issues, first came the wings when I asked the waiter about how Many wings there were and he said 4 when it arrived it came with 3, this was a little issue because the reason why I ordered the wings was because there are 4 people in my family, however the taste of the chicken wings was superb. One of the best wings I've had in a long time. Last dish to come out was the pizza, I'm a little disappointed with the price I paid, the overall taste is good but the serving is barely enough for two people. Apart from that everything is good.

I watched the band at Friday's is amazing! Good music and vibes. Definitely reccomend if your local in Puerto just go there with a couple of beers and enjoy the good atmosphere.

Just a tip , if your going to Friday's just for meals the boat trips are free of charge. But if your going there for a day trip it's costs around about 250 php one way. I've attached a price list below for everybody's...

We loved the surroundings, attentive and politel staff, and the room. However, the resort receives this 2-star rating for the very dangerous, round pool, which looks like a sit-down or jacuzzi-type pool. It's actually a 4-meter diving pool with no ladder or depth warnings. My 9 year old son who is an adapt swimmer was struggling to hang on to the sides and was not able to get out on his own. We had also witnessed two teenage girls who also could not get out and had to be helped out. The hotel did not address my concerns.

A hotel that doesn't want to address this kind of notable danger is not worth...

One of the nmbest resorts in Puerto Galera. The rooms are very well kept and spacious. The amenities are just perfect. They provide free boat ride from the sand bar to the resort. Free buffet breakfast on weekends nd plted breakfast on weekdays. They have white sand beach though the water is not as good as what they have in White Beach because there’s a mangrove area near their beach. But it’s very nice for snorkeling since there are corals just a few meters away from the shore. They also have swimming pools in the resort. We totally enjoyed...
