A wonderful park by the sea with many palms, hibiscus, orchids, heliconia and other tropical trees and flowers. Also many naivistic sculptures, which were interesting. ||8 rooms w private bathrooms and AC. ||It's a Philippino family enterprice, which feels good, because so many hotels are owned by Chinese, and the money flows out of the country. Elena was the one in the staff with all contacts with the guests. She worked in the front desk and cooked in the kitchen from early morning to late evening, every day. She was extremely helpful and wanted to make all guests happy. ||She improvised many vegetarian dishes that were not on the menu, because we don't eat meat or chicken. ||Elena can arrange a lady for massage, we booked her, and she was skillful, for a reasonable price. ||She also followed us to Sabang one day, with public transport, it was an interesting excursion. Unfortunately we had not booked the trip to "Underground river" so we missed it, but the day was nice anyway, with marvellous views from the bus windows. ||The resort area, the park and the beach were quiet, and some 3-4 km from the small village San Rafael, where you could find small street shops for some snacks and drinks. Book a tricycle to come there, or stand by the road and wait for a local bus. ||If you look for activities, book something else, but if you want to relax, read, explore the quiet beach and nature, you are on the right spot. ||Wi-fi worked sometimes, sometimes not.
