Stay away! Situated in behind a squatters street, this hotel at first glance appears like an oasis. Nicely manicured gardens, and a clean foyer. Look deeper to see a large amount of glaring problems, especially at a price point that positions this hotel above many better hotels in the heart of Makati. The rooms are tiny, and a twin queen bed room is actually, 2 x double beds (much smaller). The rooms continue to dissapoint, with poor sound proofing (I hope you like the elevator music piped into the hallways at 6am!, its loud and clear in the rooms). The room itself was full of mosquitoes, I killed 20 plus, and still had more in the morning!. Dont try and charge your phone whilst in bed, or use a CPAP machine, as there are no power outlets near the beds!! (Its 2025!! Not 1995). Booked for 4 people, and room had a single half used toilet paper roll, upon trying to call reception and housekeeping, nobody answered after multiple calls, forcing a trudge to reception in our pajamas where we found the receptionist sitting at the desk ignoring calls whilst she played music on her iphone! In regards complimentary items , 1 small bath soap, 1 very small bath gel, shampoo and conditioner....for 4 x people...not even enough for 2 persons ...and this is for a 10k per night hotel!! The restaurant had reasonable food, if pricey fornwhat was ordered. I requested a simple glass of water to take my medications, and was told they dont have any.....let that sink in...I had to go back to my room to get some water for tablets! However in the morning the complimentary breakfasts were served with luke warm water (no ice) by default... Kids had some hot choco with breakfast, and received an almost black mix of hot choco, extremely strong and bitter..we requested some milk to dilute this hot choco and were told we would be charged extra! Got the fresh milk delivered to table in a glass, and poured some into the disgusting hot choco....it was curdled (gone bad), so was undrinkable...requested a manager..nobody showed up! Went to front desk and requested to speak to a senior manager this morning, however they were all too important to talk to their paying customers, so I had a junior manager from sales show up...unacceptable!!
Steer clear! This hotels value is far below the price it is asking..Equivalent hotels in the centre of Makati are only 3000php per night for larger rooms, better amenities, and far less aggravations...vs this poor hotel inbthe middle of a...
Read moreI booked my stay at this so the so-called resort for 3 days. Based on the conditions I stayed there only 1 night. Day 1 my wife and I check into a room full of mosquitoes I spent at least 30 minutes trying to kill the mosquitoes but there was so many of them. My wife was tired due to the drive and she wanted to get some sleep but there was no blanket I called the front desk and they gave us an old rough blanket. It looks like a drop cloth that is used to cover the floors before painting. Then the WIFI does not work within our room it only works in the lobby. I went to the lobby and requested to be transferred to another room with no mosquitoes and a working WIFI. Front desk would not relocate me to another room. I just don't like their accommodations at all. No WIFI, they gave me some kind of device you plug in to eliminate the mosquitoes (does not work). I asked them if they can print out a 5 page of document. Of course they charged me per page after what I have been through. I see other hotel guests in the lobby using the WIFI because they are experiencing the same WIFI issue. Workers don't care and they will do nothing about it. When I asked them if they can fix the WIFI issue all I get is "But Sir....." Appears they are reading a script on what to say to frustrated guest. All I have to say "Beware internet pictures are very deceiving". Stay away from this resort I was being generous by...
Read moreAhh the Philippines tropical archipelago that is more often in the international news for its natural disasters than its natural beauty there is lots to see and explore.||||I had the chance to stay at Mount Sea a small resort in Cavite’s. Spacious rooms are a little dated but comfortable, while I was there they were renovating and that will be a terrific improvement.||||Everything is very clean and efficient; service is excellent, complimentary wifi is good, grounds are well kept and tidy. ||||The ocean is a short stroll away with a playground park before you reach the sea wall. The ocean is not that inviting when I was there but the water park next door run by the Mount Sea Resort is a great place to swim and relax caters for families very well maintained and a bonus attraction. You must bring the correct bathing attire no board shorts.||||The food at the restaurant is well presented and has great flavour and quality is good prices are very reasonable also.||There is a money changer outside the main road entrance with small convenience stores across the road.||||From the Mount Sea you can travel a few KM to large shopping markets and mall prices are good for most of the items on sale and is a colourful vista of known brands, community and produce.|| ||The Mount Sea Resort is good value for money I am happy to recommend this place around 45 minutes from Ninoy Aquino...
