My family of four stayed here for 3 nights in the Cottage Room. We were greeted by Brian, a colourful, friendly, hospitable pom with a fascinating life history. We later met his wife, Michelle, who is a vibrant, intelligent, hospitable Philippino, actively passionately, engaged in politics and the local community for the right reasons. Brian and Michelle were fantastic hosts, very interesting people and great, easy-going company. This created a good vibe and friendly atmosphere in their hotel, with many of the guests mingling during our stay. They have an awesome pool ("the human aquarium") with a superb view of the beautiful bay. The cottage room is superb, virtually on the sand. Breakfast is served in a gazebo room right on the beach. Food is excellent, with great range and very reasonably priced. Beer is cold. Staff all seem very happy and provide wonderful service - especially Ann and Weng. The hotel is located right on the beach (it's a beautiful beach) about 4 klms out of town. It's simple and cheap to get a tricycle into town. We really liked the local town too, because it has a local soul, seems friendly and is mostly untouched by tourism. We also did a day trip to the islands, which was easy to organise and a good outing. We loved staying here - probably the highlight of our 2 weeks in the Philippines. Thanks Brian, Michelle and Ann. Oh, and if you like a laugh, be sure to ask Brian to show you his trick where he shakes a can before...

Once upon a time, on an island caressed by the sun and waves, there was a corner hidden from the hustle and bustle, where peace walked barefoot on the sand. Just 4 km from San Vicente, as if holding Palawan's best-kept secret, lay Foxy's BEACH Resort, an enchanted refuge that seemed to whisper in your ear: "Relax, time goes slowly here."
The resort, like a small, well-kept kingdom, is lovingly governed by Brian, an attentive and discreet Englishman, and Michael, a charming Filipina who fills the place with smiles and warmth. Together they have created a space where everything seems in balance: nature, architecture, service, and even the sunsets.
The beach is calm, unobtrusive, perfect for those looking to listen to their own thoughts or the distant song of a seabird. The spacious and well-located pool invites you to dive into its golden reflections. The rooms are spacious, clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with quality details that make guests feel right at home.
And what about the food? Careful flavors, fresh ingredients, and a friendly staff who seem to have made good treatment a philosophy of life. The generous and tasty breakfasts awaken body and soul with energy and sweetness.
Foxy's is not just a resort; it's an experience that whispers to travelers that there are still places where tourism hasn't erased authenticity. A place to return to... or never...
Read moreI just had an overnight stay in Foxy’s Beach Resort but I was able to capture hundreds of beautiful pictures because the resort has nice Instagrammable locations. The highlight is the aquarium pool which allowed me to have pictures while underwater. (Thanks to their helper who was kind enough to take my pictures.) Adjacent to it is the jacuzzi which is a perfect spot to take a picture of the big outdoor pool, sun umbrellas, and the beach. ||I also liked the beach right in front of the resort because the water was calm and the sand, though not cream-colored, was very fine. There was also not a lot of people so I got to enjoy the place all by myself. ||The resort has a restaurant/bar which served really good food. I particularly loved the spicy laing which I was informed by the cook was also the owner’s favorite. It was so good I ended up eating two big cups of rice. ||The overnight stay came with free breakfast which consisted of freshly brewed coffee, lumpiang shanghai, sunny side up, hotdogs, and rice. I enjoyed the company of their helper who I had the chance to talk to while having breakfast. ||Before I left, I was glad to have met Brian, the owner, who was very friendly. He even kidded me how a handsome guy like me could go to the resort alone. He’s...
