THE STAFF AND SERVICES: We can't speak highly enough of Erika and Reggie, who were always there to assist us with genuine smiles and attentiveness. Their exceptional service added an extra touch of warmth to our stay. Additionally, Kuya Bing and Kuya Jun, the skilled boatmen, made our boat rides enjoyable and safe. Their dedication to their work deserves a stellar 10/10 rating.

THE HOUSE: The house was absolutely fantastic! From its relaxing ambiance to its immaculate cleanliness, we felt an instant sense of comfort. It was evident that the house was regularly sanitized, ensuring our safety and peace of mind. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook without any hassle, and the presence of all essential amenities made us feel right at home. The clean and well-maintained comfort rooms, excellent Wi-Fi signal, and the beautiful surrounding garden further added to the charm of the house. The fact that the house is powered by solar energy and has a backup generator eliminated any concerns about electricity. The complimentary use of the cabana was also a delightful bonus. Without a doubt, we give the house a perfect 10/10 rating!

ACTIVITIES: The range of activities offered at Gilligans was outstanding. We enjoyed playing beach volleyball, as well as basketball on the half court in the garden. The availability of kayaks and well-maintained life vests allowed us to explore the waters with ease and safety. The option to have a bonfire during our night activities created unforgettable memories. These activities exceeded our expectations and contributed to an overall amazing experience.

The place is like heaven. A big private villa on a private sandy beach. The only accommodation which they have. Erika makes breakfast and dinner as you wish for a reasonable extra.

Water sports equipment are complementary just for you. There are no corals directly from the beach, which is typical in Palawan, but after kayaking 15-20 minutes out to the sea I found a shallow spot with many fish and living corals.

It's a remote place with privacy and silence. Inter was good. Private island hopping tours are available with much better quality and price to El Nido. Last night they organized a beach campfire.

Every coin has two sides. A remote location means there are no services or shops nearby, but you may bring your drinks and snacks with you and they have a fridge in the villa. They were building a beach bar on a tiny public beach next to the private area and even if it wasn't open yet, they were nice and sold some beer and soft drinks from the storage for us. Do you see? It's very hard to write anything we don't like when everything turns positive in the end.

The road is very challenging and in early October, right after the rainy season, you must have a 2x4 or 4x4 car to make it through. Or you may ask the host for boat transportation from Port Barton.

Please be aware they don't have aircon, but the ceiling fans were good enough for us.
