La Bella Swiss Inn — Hotel in Roxas

We love this homey accommodation in San Vicente Poblacion, Palawan. The owner was hands on and hospitable. She is also the cook for the restaurant. We stayed at the largest room-the Skyler room with 2 double beds, 1 roller bed (owner suggested since we have a teenager), mini couch, TV, nice balcony with tables/chairs, closet w hangers, nice bathroom w cup holder, towel hanger, clothes hanger, hot/cold shower. Owner thought of everything that a typical traveler needed. Long beach (longest beach in the Philippines) is literally across the hotel, very close walking distance. We were all alone with no one swimming for 2 days we went. Not touristy so still very pristine. Sand was fine and beach very clean. This is a place if you just want to have a quiet relaxing time away from touristy vibe. You can ride ebike for 50 pesos pax to go to town or airport. Free breakfast and food very delicious. The hotel’s restaurant is very convenient. You dont need to leave the place to eat. The resto is open to people not a guest to hotel and owner is the cook so when its busy, it can take 1-2 hrs for your meal so order ahead if you are staying there. There were 2 other staff who were so friendly and accomodating as well. They also have laundry service if needed. Aircon is cold and wifi is strong! This is by far the best budget friendly place we stayed at in Palawan including El Nido and Puerto Princesa. Owner also was able to set up Port Barton boat tour from local tour directly from Poblacion San Vicente Market at a private discounted rate for 6pax. ...

The B&B is located at a very quiet area of San Vicente. It is a nice homey place for a short visit to the exquisite Long Beach and surrounds. The b&b is run by a nice & friendly couple. My room was spacious and furnished adequately. I was comfortable during my stay. The restaurant food was good. It's actually the only place u can eat as the town is 15 minutes away by tuk tuk, fare is P150 roundtrip. WiFi in the area was unstable. The only big setback I experienced were sand fly bites all over my body. The beach and area around the b&b is surrounded by thick vegetation where insects thrive and if you have skin allergies, sand fly bites really can be so bad. So do protect yourself with every possible insect repellant if you are planning...

I agree with the reviews here, the owner is very hands on. She arranged my van transfer from El Nido to their hotel, my land tour and van transfer from San Vicente to Puerto Princesa. All i needed to do was to enjoy my vacation. They have their own resto at the 2nd floor. The food was just priced right with big servings. A lot of delicious variety in the menu that they cook right away. Long Beach is just few minutes walk . Wifi is reliable. Bed is comfortable. Room is clean and so are the sheets and towels.
