Beautiful place in San Vicente . Everything what you need is here, nice food, very friendly staff. Manager Socrates so helpful. The bangalow is clean, nice bathroom. Stayed here for two nights , just simple and perfect ;) they can rent you a scooter which is proper and new. For more fancy dinner you can go to an Italian terrace downtown ;) osom experience in San Vicente;)

Nativo d’Kubo is a very cozy little hotel where guests are assigned individual cottages. They are small, spartan and completely adequate, even charming. Beds, linen and pillows are good. There is a desk, stool, bookcase and a small safe. The attached bath structure area is very nice, just like showering outdoors but in complete privacy. Hot water is fine. A/C is good. Wifi is good, except in the check-in area/lobby. The pool area is very comfortable with an outdoor shaded structure as well. It’s a small operation and the staff was wonderful. They were very helpful arranging excursions and transportation. A couple of markets for sundries and such were just down the street— but note, they’re simple Philippine-style markets unlike 7-11s. The location is away from the center of the village, still in the community but about five minutes by trike. It’s fine. The beautiful and virtually private Long Beach is a short walk down the street, or by trike if you wish, although the latter seemed wasteful to me. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. |What I enjoyed the most, however, was Vespa, the resident dog who befriended me on Day One. He became my canine companion who snuck away (unbeknownst to me) and later appeared during my 14km walk on the beach. He stayed with me the while distance and loved chasing crabs in the surf. He greeted me outside my cottage each morning. I enjoyed my very tranquil stay...

I stayed at Nativo D’Kubo with two friends in one of the huts for 4 days and it was the best place I stayed while I visited the Philippines. ||||Ton Ton the owner was very welcoming and friendly as well as all of the staff there including Soc the chef and Anna at reception. ||The area is quiet and remote though while we were there, there was a piesta going on for a few days which is a celebration of the town and it was great to have drinks with neighbours and villagers. So it was a good time to visit.||||Nativo D’Kubo is about 3 hours from Puerto Princesa airport, and Port Barton you can get to by car in 1.5 hours though by boat the port it less than 15 minutes away if you want to do a boat tour. ||||Long beach is less than a 10 minute walk away which is stunning. Late at night you can see the luminous plankton which will be a memory I will never forget! Port Barton island hopping trip was also amazing much less touristy than El Nido. They also sorted the trip out for us. ||If your looking for tourists this isn’t the place to go but if you want to chill out and enjoy the locals company and listen to music and eat good food then this is highly recommended. ||||I will hopefully returning to this place again! ||I had a great time!...
