La Casa de Samonteza — Hotel in San Francisco

"View is nice but the room is terrible." What we liked: 👍🏻 I like the minor staff who were accommodating. The lady at the front desk was not as accommodating at the beginning, but she warmed up a little bit when we checked-out and allowed us to stay in the small waiting area while waiting for our ship back home. The dogs around the area were also a joy to the heart. The open access pool was also quite nice. Though it needs to be maintained a bit more. We had a parking spot for our scooter too, albeit the parking area in general was too cramped.

What we disliked: 👎🏻 The room that we got didn't live up to our expectations.

There were 3 lights but only 1 was working. Paint on some corners of the wall was already peeled off. There were cracks on the wall that they didn't bother covering up. The TV wasn't working. The aircon unit didn't have a remote control, so adjusting it took a lot of manual effort. It would be impossible.for shorter people to operate it too, like turning it on/off since it's placed really high from the ground. Good thing there are a couple of chairs that you can use as support. The door is also slightly wedged, like there's a part of the door that's protruding and there's a gap between the door and the frame. The overall vibe of the room was really gloomy. We would've rated our overall experience 6 or below if not only for the dogs and pool. I'm not sure if the other rooms are the same, but we were just really...

カモテス諸島に行くなら一番おすすめの宿です！ 当初3泊4日滞在の予定で予約しましたが、台風のためセブ島に戻るフェリーが二日間運休したので、2泊延泊しました。 オーナーの方も親切で、とても居心地が良かったです！ ベッドルーム・トイレシャワーの個室のほか、共用スペースにはプールやカラオケ、食事をするダイニングもありました。 レンタルバイクもあります。お願いするとバン（車）を出してくれるようです。 島はバイクで2、3日あれば十分回れますし、マーケットやスーパーもあるので不自由しませんでした。 ATMが少ないので現金を多めに持っておくと安心です。 また行きたいです✨！

This is the most recommended accommodation if you are going to the Camotes Islands! We originally booked to stay for 3 nights and 4 days, but the ferry back to Cebu was cancelled for two days due to a typhoon, so we extended our stay by two nights. The owners were friendly and made us feel very comfortable! In addition to the private bedroom/toilet/shower rooms, the common space had a pool, karaoke, and a dining area for meals. There are also bikes for rent. They will provide a van (car) if you ask. You can get around the island in a couple of days by bike, and there are markets and supermarkets, so we had no trouble. Hidden place in Camotes island to stay. If you're looking for a budget friendly hostel and at the same time Instagramable this place if perfect for you and the most important thing, very accomodating staff. Great services!!!!🔥🔥🔥
