Here’s a paraphrased version of your review:
Time to Leave a Review for This Resort
After spending a month in Palawan, we returned to Siquijor and ended up staying here for four days while searching for long-term accommodation. Most other places were fully booked, so we had limited options.
Right from check-in, things were confusing. The receptionist seemed puzzled about our booking and even asked why we had just arrived, implying we were late. Then she claimed we only had one night left because of some mix-up. Meanwhile, two other staff members kept staring at the computer until they finally realized we were actually booked for four nights.
The room setup was bizarre. It had two air conditioners, but the bathroom had no proper walls or a door—just a curtain. They installed a shower door but not a bathroom door, so if you're traveling with a friend or partner, get ready to smell everything. I even had to open a window once to air it out.
Breakfast was another mess. Initially, they said it wasn’t included in our booking, even though Agoda confirmed that it should be. Then one morning, a different staff member told us it was free. No consistency at all!
This place is definitely not nomad-friendly. There’s no WiFi in the rooms, and even basic apps like Facebook and TikTok wouldn’t load. I finally understood why a foreign guest was always sitting outside the restaurant while making calls. I had to work from one of the gazebos at night, but it was so dark!
And to top it all off—they stole my sandals. After we checked out and moved to our permanent place, I realized I had left my sandals under the bed. I messaged them about it, but they simply replied that they found nothing. I’m absolutely certain I left them there. No explanation, just silence after they read my message.
Avoid this place. Even the pool is filthy. All the negative reviews you see here are accurate. I have no connection to the owners—just sharing my honest experience.
I hope they won't delete this...
Read morePros: there is wifi and it can reach our rooms and there is a bit of data signal in the area compared to other resort areas in siquijor. Aircon is cold and the staff were friendly. There is a swimming pool in the vicinity and a tennis court. They give a fresh towel and water upon arrival in the rooms.
Cons: our original room was supposed to be the twin room and they “upgraded” us to the queen room. On the app, i specifically requested a twin bed since my friend and i were gonna occupy the room. When we saw the queen room, there was only one bed available and we had to request an extra bed which cost almost the same as getting another room. When we checked the original twin room that we booked, to check our options, the whole bathroom was only separated from the bedroom by a “wall” that didnt reach the ceiling. And the aircon unit is on “top” of this “bathroom”. So if you were to take a bath, you would do it in an airconditioned bathroom and your company in the room would hear you the whole time. Imagine if you were going to take a dump in the bathroom, the whole bedroom would smell and your company could hear everything. I think this is why they dont post the floor to ceiling picture of the bathroom.
We decided to take the queen room instead since the wall division of the bathroom and the bedroom was floor to ceiling. So it was a bit better than the twin room. But there is still no door to the cr, just a curtain. Your companion would still hear you take a dump but at least the smell would be less compared to the twin room. In addition, The toilet seat cover is broken. The water pressure in the shower is very low. They also don’t give senior citizen discount for the rooms, only the food.
For a resort, this is the worst experience i have ever had. There are motels and hostels that are...

We recently stayed at this hotel with a group of friends, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected.
Upon arrival, we had to wait nearly 15 minutes at the front desk because there was only one staff member available to assist us. Although we had all booked the same type of standard room, each of us was given a completely different one. The rooms were inconsistent, and each had its own set of issues – one didn’t have a pail or bidet in the bathroom, some had no amenities at all, and in one case, the water wasn’t working.
The staff, while polite, seemed poorly trained and unsure of how to handle basic tasks.
The location is another major downside. It’s about an hour from the nearest rural town, and the road leading to the property is rough and hard to navigate – definitely not ideal for travelers.
The hotel itself is outdated. When we asked about the significant difference between the actual appearance and the online photos, the guard mentioned that the pictures were taken before the pandemic, which explains the misleading presentation.
We originally booked for two nights, but after the first night, we requested a partial refund (even just 50%) for the second night due to the many issues we faced. Unfortunately, the request was denied.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I strongly advise against...
