How much did we adored this place owned by a swedish-filipino couple!!! We came here with the ferry from dumaguette to visit the whale sharks (another 8km travel) the nex morning and didn't expect to have such a good time! The hostess is simply the sweetest and cutest!!! We felt very welcome and she did everything to make her guests feel comfortable (we sometimes even caught her running around, a bit stressed, which was really unnecessary since she provided us with the best service). Very friendly staff and also very professional and pro-acive in advising us about our travel plans/possibilities. The food prepared by the mother(in law)..... omg! the banana-mango shakes and crepes with fresh fruit are to die for, best we found in the philippines! The red curry.... amazing, best i've ever tasted, including those in Thailand! (wished i got the recipe) Would do anything for another plate of that! Rooms are spacious, comfortable and spotless. We regret not to have stayed longer... a real suprise,...
Read moreWe used The Farm, a new and small family run place, as a base for going to Oslob (twice) to see the whale sharks, and also because it was very close to a ferry terminal to Dumaguette. We stayed for three nights.||We celebrated Christmas Eve here in what I would call a very warm and friendly atmosphere. The owners are a Swedish and Filipino couple that were welcoming, and we could not say enough about the staff. All went out of their way to ensure that our family enjoyed our time there. They have a small kitchen but there were enough selections for our family and it was tasty. Great mango shakes. ||The rooms have all you need for a good night's sleep. There is no pool. The nearby beach is great for early morning walks.||I would recommend The Farm as a base on Cebu for Oslob and/or heading over to Dumaguette. I would also recommend them for their personalized service and would happily stay...
Read moreI stayed at here with my husband after we went to Oslob. It is a little bit out of the way of the main road and not yet very popular among the locals in Santander as some of them are not familiar but if you are travelling from Oslob you turn left on the signage thats says "Tropana".
This is a very cute location, right next to the beach where you can see Negros island. Everything in the resort is kept very very clean.
Staff and owner are very polite. Breakfast is included. They provide real coffee (not instant) and also bread is homemade in this resort which is really cool.
Its a very quiet location and a great retreat from the city. Highly recommended as an overnight stop by in case you are doing whaleshark watching on day 1 and canyoneering on day 2 or going to moalboal (vice versa) doing a Cebu round...
