Jan's Pension Inn - Sibulan Natl Highway — Hotel in Sibulan

The place was conveniently located along the highway and a few meters away from Sibulan's Divertion Road and nearby restaurants. It's very new, and I ithink it's been open for a month now.

The place has a 24hr staff and they were very polite and accommodating. They even offered me a ride to wherever id like to go for free! Who gives offer like that these days, right? 😋

The room was very clean and organized. It has a minimalist design. Personally, whenever i travel I usually bring an extension cord so that i can have the power near me without having to get up to charge my phone or computer. Unfortunately, i failed to bring one this time --BUT I was very delighted to see that the room has a lot of power outlets and one of which was right next to the bed and I am very much happy about that. I find that such a treat! 😍

Next, the internet connection was pretty fast and stable. The room itself has its own box and boy I love that!😍

The room price is affordable. They also offer weekly and monthly stays which is perfect in case youd like to stay longer to enjoy Sibulan and nearby towns in Negros Oriental.

I chose this property based on its mostly positive reviews, and here is my opinion: Payment Issues: First, I was required to pay in cash, despite Agoda listing it as card payment. This discrepancy was quite frustrating because I didn't carry much cash with me. The property is located far from the city, making transportation necessary. Additionally, there is no shower—only a bucket for washing. The toilet seat is also missing, which was inconvenient. There is no internet connection available; it appears they haven't paid for service, as there is Wi-Fi but without internet access. The property is situated on a main road, resulting in constant traffic noise day and night. Furthermore, there are fighting roosters raised just outside the rooms, which means you’ll likely be awakened at 5 AM by the sounds of about 20 roosters. If the traffic noise doesn’t disturb your sleep, the roosters and barking dogs certainly will. On a positive note, the place is relatively clean, as one would expect from any hotel. There is also an excellent restaurant just across the street. If you find yourself having booked this place, I highly recommend visiting the restaurant; it will certainly lift...
