A big mistake staying at this Resort. We stayed at The Park Silang last weekend, to celebrate two special occasions: our son’s graduation and my wife’s birthday. We were drawn to the resort because of the many positive reviews on Google & Facebook, expecting a relaxing and memorable getaway. We booked the Loft Tent as their staff recommended it for a unique and memorable experience. Sadly, our experience was far from what we hoped for.

Our first disappointment was when we requested an early check-in, but wasn’t granted, well that was understandable. However, we were checked in past 3 PM, even though 3 PM is already late than the usual 2 PM check-in at most hotels which even shortened our already brief stay.

Next is the poor amenities and facilities which is really an expectation vs reality cause it is really far from what was posted on their website and even on tiktok reviews. Both the kiddie and adult pools were noticeably dirty with dark, murky water. After swimming, we experienced skin itching, likely due to the poor water quality. Even more concerning, our son injured his foot on a broken tile in the kiddie pool — a serious safety hazard that should have been addressed before they accept guests especially with kids.

The nearby comfort room was also dirty, had a foul odor, and was overall poorly maintained.

By evening, a large number of insects swarmed outside our tent and eventually got inside. When we raised our concern, the staff explained it was due to the approaching rainy season. If this is a known issue, these tents should either be properly sealed or temporarily closed off to guests during this period. We were genuinely alarmed at the thought of insects possibly entering our children’s noses or ears while they were sleeping.

We requested either a room transfer or a refund if we decided to shorten our stay. Initially, we were told that the manager had already left. When he finally called, he offered to move us to a Premium Room, which we assumed was an upgrade. Unfortunately, that room was also disappointing. Although it was spacious, it hadn’t been properly cleaned — we found rodent droppings in multiple spots. Later that night, it rained, and a leak in the bathroom ceiling caused a rusty smell to spread throughout the room.

To make things worse, we found out the Premium Room we were transferred to cost ₱8,530 — less than the ₱9,100 we paid for the Loft tent (both on promo rates in their website). Despite the downgrade in value, no refund or rate adjustment was provided. Their strict no-refund policy only added to our frustration, especially considering the many inconveniences we experienced.

While some of the staff made an effort to assist us, the overall condition of the resort — from cleanliness and maintenance to safety and guest service, fell far short of expectations. What was supposed to be a joyful family celebration turned into a nightmare.

We usually rely on reviews when choosing vacation spots or restaurants, and most of the time, they’re accurate. Unfortunately, this time we were wrong. It’s likely that many of the positive reviews for this resort were paid or sponsored. The actual condition was nothing like the photos and videos, the resort is outdated and clearly poorly maintained. This experience taught us an important lesson: we can’t rely solely on reviews. We need to do deeper research before making decisions, as both our time and money deserve to be spent on truly worthwhile...

We booked 2nights stay for our wedding anniversary. Check in was smooth and efficient. We were escorted to our room (Safari couple) and assisted in bringing our bags. The room was clean, although it is small, it was very cozy and you'll really get to feel the glamping vibe which me and my husband liked a lot. The shower area has a bit of moulds but it was minimal. The mosquito net is a saviour though the one we had has a hole luckily not much of mosquitos during our stay. The jacuzzi is nice. When we arrived the jacuzzi was ready and warmed up so all we had to do was jump into it. They also allow using bath bombs or bubble bath which is really nice cause one would enjoy jacuzzi with that and also you can request to change the water of the jacuzzi especially if you are staying more than 1night so that everyday the water is fresh. We didn't request for housekeeping during our stay so they were quite generous on replenishing our amenities instead. Breakfast option is so so we'd say. Menu is bit pricey for us. So we mostly opted for grab food. Speaking of, we ordered Andoks via Grab for our lunch on our 1st day. We ate just outside our tent for our lunch. We didn't get to finish the food cause it was too much for us, in short we had left overs of Andoks (1 bangus + 2 quarter parts of chicken + 1 bbq stick). We covered the left over food nicely and left them on top of our table just outside our tent assuming that it is safe to leave them there since we couldn't really bring them inside our tent cause it would smell. So then we went ahead and took our afternoon nap and when we wake up and checked on our left over food to have it for dinner; we were surprised that some of it were partially taken. The 1pc bbq stick and 1 quarter of chicken were gone. My husband and I thought that maybe one of us had eaten it while one was asleep but it was not. We also thought that maybe the insects around probably poke into our food but then the food was still covered nicely when we came back for it. Somebody must have meddle into our food while we were away asleep. Tbh, it wasn't really a big deal for us cause the food wasn't really that pricey and we will be happy to share it to the needy but the thought of somebody was meddling on our belongings while we were just few steps away asleep inside our tent makes it feel odd. We hope security could be better in future. We went to swim on our 2nd day. We were at the biggest pool that morning when we were asked to leave cause they have to clean it. The staff politely asked us to leave and transfer to another pool instead, it was fine to us but we thought that it would be better if they schedule the pool cleaning not during the operating hours so that guests can really maximise the pool usage. Check out was smooth as well. We were assisted by Melissa. Have shared to her our feedback and she was apologetic about it. But overall stay was lovely. We enjoyed it and it was indeed a really relaxing place to stay. Staff are friendly, always greeting and smiling. We will definitely comeback to The Park. Thank you for...

The experience my family and I had at Park Silang was very different. When we first arrived we were greeted by the courteous and friendly people working there. The room we got was very spacious and clean with a jacuzzi outside on the balcony. There was a walk-in closet and also had our own jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom. However, to our dismay we found out later that the jacuzzi in the bathtub didn't work. And when night came, there were insects galore of different forms flying outside. Some were able to enter the room. Fortunately, they provided us this electric insect killer that zaps them when they touch it. But the loud zapping sound was very loud and made it hard to get a good night sleep. My son asked me to turn it off but I told him I would rather have that loud zapping sound than the bugs crawling on us on the bed, which some bugs did. The furniture in the room also looked old and tattered. We had food delivered in our room for an additional fee which didn't bother me. What bothered me though was that the food being overpriced was also not very good. This also included the free breakfast which came with the room. The property where the public pools we're located are all well kept including the garden and grass area. Nice place to take pictures. So overall, it was an experience that was different. It was not all bad but an experience that I would not...

I am surprised that this hotel only has an average of 4.5 in google. I think they deserve more. If you are looking for a place near the metro to unwind with your fur babies, this is the place to be. The staff welcomed us and treated my dog like a guest, not just a pet. No hassle with check in and check out. The staff was also quick in helping us unload our bags. Pet fee is also reasonable. They have a huge garden where you can have your dog play. When we went there, they had a bonfire bbq event, where the garden was set up so the guests could enjoy the bbq while watching a movie on their projector, movie speaker was good as we were seated far but we still could hear the movie playing. Room was spacious enough for my dog , wifi was fast no dead spots, the room had a smart TV it was easy for us to connect our phone. Buffet breakfast had a good selection of food. Their chicken tocino was YUM! This is the first hotel that my dog went into so thank you The Park for making it memorable for him.
