I don’t know anyone that couldn’t love this place! This was our last accommodation on our Philippines backpacking trip – a little treat to finish. We were recommended to visit Siquijor by a local we had met in Puerto Princesa, so we thought, why not! Not only did this become my favourite island, but I believe a huge part of this is because of Infinity Heights. We were super lucky to visit during a quiet period (start of the rainy season), but we’ve created memories here we will never forget. |Firstly, we were beautifully greeted by the front of house staff, whom, I promise, will already make your stay so perfect as they made sure our guest experience was the highest it can be. Nothing was ever too big of an ask. If you love dogs, there are a couple of onsite adorable dogs who are very well behaved and respect your space, but also love a cuddle! The room (we stayed in room 10), was outstanding. It was clean, lovely, modern but simple décor, a big balcony with views that honestly took my breath away. For me, it felt like a place I could easily call my home. |Speaking of home, the owners live onsite and came over to chat with us. Gary and Christy are the sweetest people, it’s very clear they take a lot of pride in their home and their business. As owners, I feel they tick every box. We’ve felt so cared about and wanted here, and we’ve not come spending money. It’s just been about getting to know each other. They’ve put a lot of hard work into the resort, and you can see through their staff how happy and attentive everyone is who works here. They gave us local insight knowledge and even treated us to a night of music! Christy performed some well-known songs, whilst Gary, my partner and two other guests assisted in the mini band – it’s a night that can’t be explained, as it was an unexpected taste of paradise. We felt 100% happy, content and relaxed, it’s an evening we will always cherish. We stayed after the music finished and continued chatting to Christy and Gary about everyday things and cultural differences. We wanted them to know how good their staff was as well, and they just seemed so heart warmingly proud of the business they have created. |The last thing to mention is the views and the pool. JUST WOW. I wish we had more time here (or just lived here). We spent a whole evening in the pool watching the sun set over views that you can’t beat. It was emotionally beautiful, and we both miss this...
Read moreThe place is amazing. They have really stunning view. We stayed there (deluxe sea view villa) for 3 nights and we had the place to ourselves which was great. Its very quiet but sometimes they are people cutting off trees nearby.
The room rates are quite pricey & breakfast is not included, not even a complimentary welcome drinks. We didn’t have a booking cus we were just driving around and found this place. I suggest to book online for cheaper price. Don’t fall for the “hurry its our last room” cus its not real. I booked our last night online (thru agoda) & was told by the site that it is the last room or whatever but we were the only guests at the resort which I find silly.
The food is very pricey and there’s nothing special about it. Its very small portion for the price they charge. Ice cream is always melted when served. I dont know how they keep it. The burger buns are frozen that just thawed in a microwave which made it really chewy and not edible. Our favourites were the pizza and crunchy sweet potato fries.
The staff are really accommodating & very friendly. I enjoyed talking to them. We forgot our soapdish but we got it back bc they kept it.
The structures in the resort needed some repairs or some cleaning. The roofs needed to be replaced. Some of the wood of the buildings needed to be replaced/repaired. The pool tiles needed some scrubbing & badly needed some replacement cus they are loosened. The bar is not open but you can order a bottle of wine from...
Read morewhen we arrived thought we had hit the jackpot the location pool area and scenery were AMAZING. Checked into our room middle of the afternoon to find 2 bugs in the bed. We immediately called the staff over and as expected tried to pass it off as an insect but they were quite clearly bedbugs (we showed google images of what they were) we were offered another room (no apology) but simply did not feel comfortable to stay there - linen is all washed together and the fact they were present during the day meant the room was infested. Then the debacle of trying to leave - get a refund began. We did not receive an apology once and the staff did not seem that bothered either - they explained their usual process is not to refund if you have checked in. We explained this is not normal circumstances and we did not want to stay not because we simply did not like the resort but there was clearly a bedbug infestation. We tried to contact agoda and could not get anywhere with them either. So the option was loose £120 and leave or stay 3 nights here. I realised they had a sister property and asked if we could move there instead- (which the hotel should of given us as an option) and they agreed and we had a wonderful time there. Sometimes policies can be altered if its not the...
