NDN Resort And Events Place — Hotel in Talisay

Not impressed. The room was okay. The wifi was terrible. The front desk staff was not helpful. We spent two nights there and whenever we asked a question to any of the staff it felt as if we were bothering them. As we were leaving, we asked for help to arrange transportation and they claimed they had no service for that at all. There was actually a passenger van with their logo right outside of their office....we were not asking for free stuff but just help or directions. And again, the front staff was not helpful and seemed bothered by our questions and concerns. We did not feel welcomed at all. We don’t recommend this resort at all. Still unaware why is called a resort... The food in the restaurant was okay, the coffee was delicious and when i asked the staff member the name of the coffee he wrote on a piece of paper “brewed coffee “ in filipino.... The pool was awesome lol so i guess thats the only thing they have to offer. Also, the shower...

Parking and pool provided, the exterior of the hotel looks good for events and sooth to the eyes. The room provided was spacious. Simple decoration with bed, table with chair and tv. No indoor slipper provided. Cleanliness of the room can be improve. All of the metal/ stainless steel equipment in the toilet seem to have stains/ rusty? The shower head was blocked, rusty, covered with dirt/soap. When we reported the issue, the maintenance staff came and poke the holes with a thin wire, instructed us to try again and to call if it doesn't work. There were ants on the toilet sink throughout the stay. Another thing to point out was the large photo framed above the bed, it was a picture of cockroaches, insect, mouse etc. Not sure why would anyone pick such a picture to be placed in a hotel room. The water station outside the rooms can be clean regularly, there were stains and ants all over it. Breakfast...

The “resort” is a bit overpriced for the very dated rooms, amenities and services they offer. There is no restaurant, WiFi barely works most of the time in the rooms and breakfast is only from 7:00 to 9:00. Pool hours end at 22:00 but be prepared to have people singing the loudest karaoke until 4 in the morning. Because swimming after hours is unthinkable but having a mini concert is ok. Some local team trains in the gym, so it isn’t exactly for guests. Staff are just helpful, they won’t go the extra mile. Laundry isn’t available on site. It’s located in front of the lake and has plenty of sitting around the complex for the loud guests. Two big, clean but very similar pools...
