My family and I were supposed to stay here for a few nights but for various reasons, we decided to stay in the city center. This is probably one of the nearest beaches to Tacloban City so we still went to this resort for a day trip.||We rented a cottage to use while we were swimming on the beach and an air-conditioned room as the afternoon sun was really hot. The cottage rental was not that expensive and the cottage came with a power outlet which is handy if you need to charge your smart devices.||The air-conditioned room was just ok. We only used it for the afternoon, but we had to pay the full overnight rate - which was fine for us as it was not that expensive - about 40USD. It was comfortable enough to escape the afternoon sun, although the air conditioner could use an upgrade. The beds were comfortable enough for an afternoon nap, but not for a few nights' stay. The ensuite bathroom was basic, but it had good water pressure and a water heater.||Although it was an off peak-day, service was a bit slow. We complained about the bathroom lights needing a change but no one came. ||The beach was dirty. There were several dogs in the compound, and while I like dogs, I don't appreciate their droppings just being left unattended on the beach. There was a lot of trash floating on the water. ||The pool was nice. It didn't smell like chlorine - so take that as you will. It had various depths suitable for children.||The food was meh. Not worth the price. We ordered the seafood boodle set. The crabs were not fresh. The shrimps were fresh but overcooked. The noodles (pancit) and mussels were really awesome - everyone loved them. ||The location had a stable cellular signal - a huge plus for me.||Overall we had an enjoyable day, but it was more of the company than the place. We spent approx. 130 USD for a...

Ā Ā Ā Read morePoorest service. My 14-year old nephew got an accident in their pool due to unsafe and loosed metal ladder of the pool. His left foot got injured and suffered with two-layered skin laceration. What's worse?! No medics around. The life guard just gave us 1 piece of 4x4 gauze and a small bottle of Betadine. How would the bleeding be controlled with a piece of gauze? He even told my sister who is a professional nurse that the lacerations need not medical attention. But my sister insisted that it needs suturing and she gave my nephew first aid to stop the bleeding and used mask instead to cover the wound with pressure since they can't provide another piece of gauze. We soon found out from the lifeguard himself that he is aware of that defective pool ladder for quite sometime and they just pull it out after the incident. The manager did not talk to us. The staff there even hide his/her identity when we asked what's his/her name and gave us excuses of his/her whereabouts. The management did not in any way help us to take my nephew to the nearest hospital. The management did not take any responsibility at all. They did not even apologize for their negligence. As a result of their poor management and negligence, my nephew can't walk temporarily because of the wound and had a trauma. He is under...
