Celebrated my son's baptism here. We had 50 guests and were placed poolside. We had the impression that we will have the whole stretch but it was divided into two as there was another party on the other side. Event was supposed to start at 5pm, but when we arrived there past 5PM, the food has not yet been served/placed in the chafing dishes. Despite this, the servers during the event were very courteous, attentive, and provided prompt service. They also don't charge corkage for lechon and cake so that's another good thing.
However, we had problems while checking into our reserved room. We had it reserved the same day we confirmed and paid down payment for the event. Endorsed by marketing staff Nadia, we gave our name to the receptionist and were ready to pay for the room as well but the hotel staff said the payment will be collected upon check-in so we left. Upon check-in though, they said they couldn't find our reservation and that there were no more family rooms left. 🥲 Ready to throw a fit after a stressful day, we insisted that they fix it, and the lady at the counter who assisted us provided us with a solution by offering us an executive room, which accommodates one head less than the original family room. So while we got 20% off discount from doing the event at the hotel, it was basically useless as we ended up paying more than the actual price to get the additional pax in and the fee for additional heads isn't covered by the discount.
When we got to the room, the floor was slippery and wet, like it had just been mopped but not dried. There were no amenity kits, toilet papers, nor towels in sight as well. These were all rectified later in the evening though when they sent in the fresh towels, toilet paper, and amenity kits. The amenity kits were super generous, by the way. They don't give out those cheap, disposable toothbrushes with harsh bristle but instead, they provide actual branded toothbrushes, though still the basic kind.
The cabinet is wonky. The mirror is waaaay on the side (right beside the window so it's hard to use). The trash bin in the restroom had a mysterious substance on top of it. The shower switch is weird (it opens the other way -- pull to turn off instead of pull to turn on). CR mirror is old and dirty. Oh and i can't seem to get the TV to work.
Beds are soft and comfortable with nice and clean white linen and duvets. Pillows are lovely and soft.
They provide wifi codes, breakfast stubs, and welcome drinks for as many people the room can accommodate (that you paid for of course).
Pool is quite big, with an adequately sized kid's pool aside from the main pool. It is also heated so swimming at night is still enjoyable. The water made me a bit itchy though and it was not as clear as one would expect.
Overall, i have mixed feelings but still generally kinda happy...
Read moreHotel was okay but the staff are very unhelpful. During my stay, I (together with two others) was assigned at probably the farthest room of the hotel which was at their new building. Unknowingly, one of my roommates took the key to our room and forgot to leave it with the receptionists when she left. When I asked for the key card, receptionist said they didn’t have it. When I asked her who had it, she just shrugged. When I asked if I could have another keycard instead, she flat out declined. When I asked if there’s any way we can open the door, she just said I had to find who has the keycard. So I did. But I couldn’t find my third roommate as she was out of vicinity. So I asked another hotel staff to find someone who can open my hotel room for me while I waited outside my room. Again, it was the farthest room from the hotel. When another hotel staff came and brought a keycard, I asked him if he could help me find the keycard or better yet give me another keycard. He said I’d have to ask reception. I asked him if he could do it for me since we were already at my room and it would be difficult for me to walk all the way back to reception because of my sciatica. He left with a distasteful look on his face. Later on, my friends whom he met along the hallway told me that the staff was grumbling about why I asked for a keycard from him. Nobody from the hotel ever came back to provide feedback...
Read moreI recently stayed at this hotel for a week, and while there were a few positives, the overall experience was underwhelming.
Starting with the good—the room had a smart TV with Netflix, which was a nice touch for unwinding in the evenings. However, that’s where the highlights end.
The check-in process was frustratingly slow and disorganized, setting a bad tone from the start. Once in the room, I noticed the weak water pressure, which made showers less than refreshing. Amenities were also lacking—each guest was given just one towel for the entire stay, and after a couple of days, they started to smell like mold. To make matters worse, the provided shampoo and body wash were noticeably watered down. For the price, I expected more.
Breakfast was another letdown. The selection was quite limited, especially considering the cost. It felt like an afterthought rather than a well-planned meal service.
Overall, this hotel has potential, but the lack of attention to basic comforts and services makes it hard to recommend. I wouldn’t stay here again unless significant...
